I have the same question. What % of the final piece makes the tag mandatory? corrections? tracing? getting ideas? what about people who trained SD on their own art and made their own Checkpoint/LoRA? What if they used character reference of their OC (to which they technically hold the rights to) in Midjourney?

And for text and code it’s even harder, I’m ESL and I use ChatGPT extensively to proofread and fix my spelling and grammar errors, do I have to disclose that? Would people be happier with broken and mispelled English in the product?

So many questions that go unanswered.

How much % of AI counts as AI? If an artist traces over an AI image (but every line is ultimately done by hand) does it count as AI? If people report it and the artist says “Yeah it’s traced from AI” do you require them to use the AI tag? I understand this is a contentious topic but I’d like to know your stance on it.

I have the same question. I can understand assets since there might be a legal component if an AI asset is used in a commercial project. But I think requiring games to be tagged feels like overreaching.

Thank you very much for your comment! I’m focused on other projects at the moment but I have plans to continue working on this one.

I like how this game has a unique charm that’s the perfect mix between a challenging dungeon crawler and a cute and chill game.

This is very good game! Hope you make it a full release later on. the anime aesthetics are pretty good and I can see this easily becoming a series!

I played this game but it’s kind of unstable, sometimes is crashed on my side :( It is a very creative game and has a lot of charm. Overall I like the idea and the theme, looks like a chill and cute game. Good work!

I like this game’s idea! It gives off an adventuring vibe! I can see this evolving into a roguelite about fighting monsters or a horror game where you unveil increasingly disturbing stuff hidden in the darkness, or maybe even a fun co-op where you play with friends exploring a cave. very fun, nice concept and it fits the theme perfectly with the expanding light sources.

Right click gives you a shield! just point it on the direction of an incoming bullet and you should be safe. In the full game I’m planning you have to play aggresively to win, but in this demo you can just dodge and shield your way though. There’s a different dialogue if you survive the bullet hell in case you want to try it.

This game is amazingly good! It does feel a bit random at times because of the algorithm, so a bit of patience and trial and error are needed to fully enjoy this game. Overall great concept and creative mechanic which goes to show how all you need is to correctly execute a great idea.

got 29752, super hard game.

I like this game. the avatar is cute and the girl is very entertaining to talk with. Which AI voice are you using? sounds like 11Labs.

The concept is good, I hope you make it a longer game and that it evolves into a full experience, I see a lot of potential!

Thank you! it is moving very fast! I recently made a visual novel and a month later a new AI update was released (Midjourney5) and it made all the cutting edge images from the past month look dated D:

I’m confident next year we’ll be having entire AI generated cutscenes in Gamejams.

On PC web doesn’t work BUT if you run it from your cellphone web browser it works well!! I suspect the inputs are mapped to the touchscreen instead of the mouse.

This is a legit full fledged game! It’s very fun and while at first it looks simple it’s actually very challenging! I got all the way to the Giraffe. I’ll aim to get all of them!! great game!

Very cool and creative game! I can see this expanding into a full fledged experience like the games like Superliminal or the Stanley Parable where the whole trip becomes a core memory. Great work!

Thank you! I’m glad you liked it!

Thank you! I was heavily inspired by Utena. Yes the art is made in Midjourney. I’ll release the art and prompts later. I really liked this project and will continue making it after the jam.

I spent a lot of time playing this, if the sheep were faster or you could spawn them anywhere I’d be hooked for days. Pretty nice concept! I tihnk the sheeps need some balancing as the 20 and 50 sheep aren’t that poweful. the black sheep is amazing but it’s very had to get.

I like the theme of a mysterious divination from a gorgeous lady dressed in red. The game jam theme is very present. The gamepaly did break a little when playing full screen. The ambient and feeling of it is very good though. It reminds me of vintage point and click adventures.

This game is so far the only one I’ve played for this game jam that could be shipped as is into the Google or Apple store. It feels like a short and fun game and it’s the full experience! I like how it is whimsical and funny. Great work!

Hi, I downloaded the zip but I have no idea which file to run to play the game?

I got 11/13 the last ones were very hard. Great game! the companion cat and it’s heavy accent are the cherry on top!

It’s an interesting theme and the idea to expand it to maybe soemthing like VA-11 Hall-A or Coffe Talk is there. Unfortunately as it is it’s not very fun on its own. I can see ideas like this become more populat in open world games and dating sims where actually putting effort into your words can have in-game effects.

They are very much part of the charm! I legit played it like 5 times in a row.

This is a very cool and relaxing game. I think there is a huge market for “relaxing yet challenging puzzles” I’d love to see it expanded to join the likes of “a little to the left”, “Cats neatly organized” and “unpacking”.

This game is super fun! the groovy music and the whacky physics make it very enjoyable. I think I got to the movies but I also crashed my car into the entrance so I can’t go in now XP

I like the gameplay and it’s a very creative approach. The LLM generated parts are prety interesting I can see future games picking up this approach to customize the game to what the players want: action focused players will get more creative and varied enemies while story focused gamers can have an entire novel writen by the LLM to explore.

skyleray. How would you approach making something similar to this?

https://youtu.be/ECBgMqRJmcc

It’s at its core a guitar, percussion and some form of chorus. If you can make some like this i’ll be happy to give you full credits for the music.

I usually make visual novels but I want to use Godot a bit more for this game jam. Looking for a team who might be interested.

My strong suits are writing and storytelling so this might be a bit of a challence if I end up doing it solo. Nonetheless that also is valuable experience.

Thank you!

Yes.

Is the link/host broken? I can’t play neither on itch nor on the link you provided.

Thank you! glad you noticed I took a lot of care to not break the lore too much even though I took some liberites here and there. To answer your question: yes, since it was for the NanoRenO I only had time to make two endings basically. I had (or have) plans to expand it later with another chapter.

Thank you! I’m glad you liked it!

Thank you! Glad you liked it.

Thanks for the clarification! Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I won’t be able to make it this year without these tools. Hopefully I’ll have more availability next year. Thanks again for the quick response! And good luck to all participants!

I know it’s forbidden for the visual assets. But ChatGPT can also help with the code. NovelAI can help with the writing. DeepL with the grammar. and so on. Is that allowed? Also, I plan to use Voice Acting from Replica Studios (AI voice acting) is that allowed? I just want to make sure I’m not breaking any rules or getting into trouble down the line.

Thank you so much for the clarification! Have a great day!

Hello. I got this in a Fanatical bundle, but the Fanatical site didn’t give me the license, is that an actual distributor or was I scammed?
