Love the idea. To slow difficulty curve. Ability to see what in your discard pile nad what youre buying (some move animation?).  Make the game more tactical(either more tower and enemies types or dive deeper into deckbuilding - removing cards from the deck...)

The movement makes the game slow-passed which is something I dont like in 2D platformers.

I would somehow differentiate the areas color of the background and so on. 

I enjoyed how the game was segmented into smaller ideas. I think there could be less text in dialogs. Maybe on the moving platforms in the middle part there could be lowered the speed. So there is no effect of fall on the top spot of the movement. And I think it would be nice to put damager on acid to be applied on enemies. They could fall into it.
