Thank you!! I wouldnt spoil the speedrun strats this early but glad you enjoyed it. The beam gun is my favourite too for the instant clear satisfaction but its a hit or miss for different people!

We wanted to upgrade the boss too but didnt have enough time so decide to keep it and hopefully update later.

Highly agree that the dash is not intuitive since it happens in the direction of cursor as opposed to how games normally do it. We brought up and discussed this very issue and decided to leave it in as a learning curve since -

1. 8-directional dash is not as precise in a game with only 1 hp and no i-frames

2. It felt important that the decision to present it as a challenging speedrun required it to have the precise cursor dash as a movement tool to accurately position for beam gun and shotgun shots to instantly clear waves
