I’ve been waiting for a game like Falling Dark 2 for a while; it’s an adult point-and-click, sophisticatedly provocative and edgy, with interesting characters, romance, and you get to wield multiple guns- and use them often.
The game had a rare combination of playful and daring art, expressive and gritty music, strung together with energetic and fresh narratives. Though I wasn’t very good at building my Taylor’s skill trees, I appreciated the opportunity to mold my talents by making decisions throughout the game.
Overall, I had a really fun time playing Falling Dark 2, and recommend it as a “grownup game” that lets you explore a unique range of ideas, choices, and emotions in Y2k.
