Meet Ivo 🍄

This is the character artwork for one of the core mushrooms in Mycomancers.

Ivo is inspired by mystical, rare fungi.

In the game, Ivo represents the yellow mushroom — the embodiment of arcane power. He may look tired and always slightly annoyed, but his magical attacks are devastating. He strikes enemies with raw arcane energy, even when low on life.

Personality-wise, Ivo is a grumpy magical master. He’s spent his entire sporeling life with dark circles under his eyes and prefers quiet corners where he can chill with music, ignoring everyone who might disturb him.

Some mushrooms grow quietly, hiding their power.
Ivo hides it with attitude.

Meet Rocco 🍄

This is the character artwork for one of the core mushrooms in Mycomancers.

Rocco is inspired by the iconic fly agaric
Amanita muscaria — one of the most recognizable mushrooms in the world.

In the game, Rocco represents the red mushroom, the embodiment of physical power and aggressive combat. He excels at charging into battle, striking enemies head-on and overwhelming them with raw strength.

Personality-wise, Rocco is a proud and disciplined gladiator.
He spends most of his time training, sharpening his weapons and preparing for the next fight. To him, every battle is a chance to prove his strength.

Despite his tough exterior, Rocco deeply respects honorable opponents and believes that true warriors grow stronger with every challenge.

Others charge straight into battle.

Meet Momo 🍄

This is the character artwork for our first protagonist in Mycomancers.

Momo is inspired by the common button mushroom
Agaricus bisporus (White version) - one of the most familiar mushrooms in the world.

In the game, Momo represents the white mushroom token, the starting point for many evolutions. While he isn't the strongest fighter at first, feeding him magical colored spores allows him to evolve into new colors and powerful forms.

Personality-wise, Momo is a carefree and curious little fungi.

His favorite hobby is lying in the grass and watching the clouds drift by. He also loves collecting shiny rocks and he cares deeply about his beloved pet: 

a tiny pebble

Sometimes the smallest mushroom begins the biggest adventure.
