Thank you!

We’re interested 😉 https://murkdice.itch.io/the-circle-knight-the-ash

Thanks! This one was good fun to put together!

Ah my bad! I always think of the historical layering of gambeson, mail, then plate haha.

Thanks for kind words as well :)

Hey there! Luke from Murkdice here (the one organising this jam). To submit to the jam you’ll need to provide your submission as a google doc.

There are also a couple of things that it would be great to see aligned with the submission requirements:

  • Please review the room keying structure and ensure your keying adheres to the outlined structure. Also check our guidance on use of terse language, there are going to be a lot of rooms in this dungeon when we put it all together and we want to keep things easy for GMs!
  • You’ve included text outside of room keys and an encounter table, specifically your section on the Siren’s Song. This needs to be incorporated into a terse encounter table or into room text. It cannot exist seperately, especially since we are splitting contributors dungeons into smaller pieces.

Please review the starting documents in the google folder we provided for clarification or drop by the discord server!

I guess this is a thing now!

You might want to try a different unzip tool, I’ll try uploading a different file in a day or so and post when that happens if you are still having issues.

Hey there! I’ll check the compression but I haven’t had issues with any other users downloading the colour files. Are you using a specific tool to unzip the files?

This is great stuff, a really good resource that I’ll definitely recommend when fellow designers want accessibility guidance!

Just for anyone following this thread, the Quickstart has now been updated to have seperate rules and scenario pamphlets!

Hey there!

This is something I can probably look to do in the future.

Right now, I have Kickstarter fulfilment going on and a couple of other projects that are priority.

But at some point I will try to get a print friendly version up!

Hey Ben, Luke here! At the moment I'm hard at work on the finishing touches full version, but after that I'll be looking into re-vamping the Quickstart Set. Splitting the set up into the scenario and rules is something I will look into as part of that new version :)

Hey! I think that’s actually just a quirk of the font, it does an automatic Roman numeral substitution for the number one for a bit of ‘style’. The second edition uses a less stylised typeface and doesn’t have any odd numberings if you prefer!

Hey Oliver, apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I’ve been working on Written in Blood, an adventure site/scenario collection which I’ve put up today. It should give you an idea of the kinds of scenarios I run!

Players do only roll 😊 when they roll a result with Backlash, the GM then decides what that Backlash will be (typically guided by common sense). So the players take action (as long as the GM seems it a reasonable thing to do), the dice decide whether it’s successful, and if they have Backlash the GM decides what it’s going to be.

So when a player decides to engage an opponent (let’s say with Might) and they roll a result with Backlash, the GM might choose to deal them a wound if it makes sense in the combat scenario. I hope that helps 😊

These should be coming soon I hope!
