Discovered the game in the tail end of last year (november 2025), and immediately latched onto it: finally, a Fire Emblem TTRPG system?
I finally got to DM it for my annual year's end one shot, and it was blast!
Instead of the recommended party size of 4 players and giving them several characters to play with, I went with a party of 8, with each player having a single character each, and the game still flowed perfectly fine and smoothly! I'd say, for a group that big, that each player shouldn't control more than two characters though, or this could quickly get a tad bit complicated.
Still, the game flows rather smoothly, and the provided NPC sheets (especially the generic ones), are really handy to be able to create a lot of ennemy units without having to spend too much time on this side of DM'ing, and therefore makes it much easier to focus on map construction and the other important details.
It also looks like it is fairly easy to homebrew for, overall, I'd recommend it, and am now considering potentially running a full campaign using this system.
One of the highligts of my year! <3
