I like how you used the theme. I surely enjoy the graphical design of the enemies.

One thing I surely didn't like is the dash being stuck onto the mouse instead of being alongside the keyboard's movement, it stops me for focusing on shooting through one device and moving with the other. In fact the dash this way kept me going right into the bullets.

Rock solid anyway however, impressive to have this in 1 week!

I enjoyed the first level, you were obviously telling a story about a mysterious event.

The level's elements, things galling, things disappearing, that was a nice touch.

I also like the choice for the music.

I think you made great choices in every element in fact, until the maze came in.

Nothing else made me think of "step bro I'm stuck" as much as this.

At the start of the maze, it was fine, it goes with the theme and it's blendingh nicely, but the more time I had to spend in it the more lost I got (which yeah the irony, it's a maze), but it's very long and it feels like there's no telling of where to go, I got lost for 5 mins, retried later in case I was supposed to understand something from the shadow man and the red sign (which maybe I should but honestly I was blank on that)and same thing. I reached some kind of window and kept moving forward, but I was just stuck moving around. It feels more annoying than fun as it goes on.

PS: Now I don't know if this is just a me thing, but as I kept going through the maze, since the walls are the same and move the same way, I got a little nauseous. Oof course I can't expect someone to be able to have a lot of patterns in a game jam, but I thought I should not that.

I love the idea!

I'd say it's only missing some QOL which is obviously not something expected in a game jam, but I thought it's worth mentioning. The main qol thing I'd say would love is to have the option to also completely remove the ghost of his past since sometimes he fucks me over.

What I didn't like is the time the copy stays frozen, I tried a lot to reach the charactert o jump over spikes, when I jumped over, it seems there's a timer for my jump to be able initiate again, and by that time, the copy would be dead anyway, so that is mostly what ruined it for me.

Good luck with the jam man! Hope to be able to be as creative as you someday!

I really enjoyed all the parts honestly, I don't think I have anything to say besides bravo!

Oh one note is, please make the reload button a bit further from the main interact button xD.

Really simple and nice idea, which I tend to enjoy a lot about a game!

My main issue is with the precision of the aim using the A and W buttons. Pressing them moves way too fast so I never have enough time to be even close to precise with my jump away which stops me from advancing to see "distorting your reality" part, I barely got anything.

There's also the fact that I can't tell when my strong dash can come back HOWEVER I'm certain that would be easily noticable if I was able to advance a bit more, but that is the aiming issue again I suppose.

Again, I'm pretty sure I would've given every part a 3 star rating EASILY if it wasn't for that, and I personally hope to be able to reach making a game that can be fun as much as yours is and can be! Good luck with the ratings dude!
