Oh my gosh I love it! Polly fan art<3

SPOILER WARNING: Don't read unless you've played!
The ending really re-contextualized the main menu for me. There was no new game, I initially thought because in the game we are narratively at the point of no return. No retrying, no starting over, just moving forward, only able to continue from where Avan is now. But seeing the meta reason, that we are continuing the save of the nameless gamer within the game?? Amazing work. You're a really good writer.

Very nice! I think my rendering was a bit slow, which made it difficult to play quickly enough to win but I made it to the first world boss at least.

Man, I wish I had some cool shadow clones to help me get through my day.  Super awesome concept, really solid execution. Good use of color:)

I managed to get 10 scrolls, then remembered I could jump! Very cool premise. I could see myself spending a few hours on this game, but must move on and rate more games! I love the vibrant pixel art, and I always enjoy a badass nerd risking life and limb for knowledge. Great job with the logo font:) Catherine G. was here!

Clever ending! I was so shocked by the other guy. My chat always jokes how my next game should be an MMO RPG, so I was wide eyed when I first read the description! Good job:)

Thank you so much! I don't know how to describe the feeling of reading a spoiler warning on a comment about a game I made, but it tells me that my game mattered. Your analysis is spot on to much of what I felt while creating this. While I did not have enough time to do many different endings (only sharing color or don't share any color) I really wanted to do so! I'm glad to know that you want to see more of Polly and her life. Perhaps I can continue her story in the future:)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll see about adding a warning! Perhaps one in the page details at least:)

Thank you! You're great for playing my game:)

Thanks! My twitch chatters helped inspire the idea:)

Thank you for playing:)

My best score

Proof you can win. does this pass for playtesting?

Oh no! So sorry about that. Did pressing the escape key not work on linux? That gave the mouse pointer back for me, but I don't have a linux setup. I'll update the instructions to inform future players. I'll also look into updating the code so that it releases the mouse automatically after pressing the win button. That you for bug reporting this, I don't know what I was thinking.

Interesting assertion. I'm sure my twitch chatters who watched me build it from scratch in Godot would disagree with you though. I'll take it for the compliment it is since that must mean I did something right. The skeleton parts are free stock images yeah, but this was a project to learn code and practice UI, not to create custom graphics. You have made me realize I should un-list my practice games from browse though, so points for that.

Thanks for the feedback! I must be honest, I was not the person to make the music. I'll need to add a credit/attribution someplace for tallbeardstudio since I got it in an asset pack from them. Music is one of my weak areas which I am still not willing to share with the public yet😅

and thank you for coming by my streams and giving me tips and advice:)

Thank you for playing! Your comment reminded me to play through them all again, and I noticed a couple typos in the script. Also the garlic chicken result had been mostly cut off because I forgot to add line breaks in my codeD:

Updated to fix:)

Thank you so much! Your comment had the whole dev team in near tears of joy.  Best of luck to you  on your submission!

Incredible level design!

The setting is so strange and whimsical, I can just imagine it having pages upon pages of insane lore. Fun, challenging, and rewarding.

Awesome that you included multiple game modes! I think it adds a lot. Mysterious enter code section has me curious about what sort of easter eggs you've included.

Fantastically polished! Very fun to play.

My best score! 500 and a win state with 0 lives left:)

Thank you! I've already been thinking of ways to improve it, like randomizing the ball travel angle a little more instead of a constant 45 degree. However, I must focus on making new games! Keep moving forward:)
