This game is really well put together. The art style, music and systems are all really well crafted and feel very professional. The church management is well thought out and the mechanics are all really solid. The story and setting are also really interesting and give the game a really unique feel, congrats on that.
I feel like the game can get somewhat long, I spent like 60 weeks at first and didn't get any ending, but with the tight schedule it's understandable that more events or story beats couldn't be added during the weeks, I guess I just wish there was more, which is actually a huge positive
Congratulations on making something so solid and large in such a short span, I think you could polish this into an actual full game and it would work really well!
Really great game dude!
The puzzles were actually really engaging, like I had to pause and really think about where to swing with the vines, super cool puzzle design. The spin on the concept is pretty sweet, I didn't trust anyone at first and the ending pleasantly surprised me.
The visuals are also really cute, my only criticism would be to be able to hold a direction for movement
Really liked your game, congrats!
I quite liked the atmosphere, it gave the game a really eerie vibe. The random sound effects and darkness added quite a lot to the experience. The story was also pretty sweet, I liked the whole cosmic horror vibe (and the "at the crossroads don't turn left" might be a reference to a certain Minecraft video?).
I would say the character control is a bit slippery and there are some weird invisible collisions on the graveyard, but that aside it was a very enjoyable experience, good job!
An amazing entry for the jam!
The visuals are top-notch, the mechanics and systems are all really well built and flow seamlessly, the gameplay loop is really cool, checking for lies with the guides and having to choose if a negative trait might be worth it for a Natural Leader or Gym Rat.
I just wish there was more, like an end game or a more clear progression system, but that's just because I thoroughly enjoyed the game
Incredible job!
Neat little game!
I think the art style is very strinking and gives the game a really cool, dark feel. I like the layout of the dungeon with it's secret tunnels and fake walls, it felt cool to explore (although those spike traps on the floor at the start are EVIL)
I think the NPC's dialogue should stay more time on the screen, sometimes it vanished before I could even read (also sometimes the text would outright display TEST, but after a few resets it fixed itself lmao)
As a little trial and error puzzle game it works well and it's fun to play, congratulations!
(Also, the deaths are pretty funny lol)
Suuuper unique game, and really fleshed outfor only a 7-day development.
The dialogue and characters were pretty cool (the bodybuilder was really funny lmao) and the story was simple but effective. Without going into spoilers, I guessed the murderer quite early, but the final twist caught me completely off guard and I liked it a lot!
The dialogue boxes and talking sprites are really cool as well, and the isometric view is really unique, although the overworld sprites are somewhat rough in my opinion.
Overall, super cool and unique entry, actually got quite invested, kudos to the team!
PEAK CINEMA
First, the audio clips got me rolling, the "HEEELP HEEELP", the "AUEHUEHDUEH" of the grandmas, incredible
The game is pretty addicting, the way different objects are slowly incorporated until you reach the freaking galaxy is so dope. Also when the start menu appears as a grabbable object? amazing.
I think the way the theme is incorporated is a little far-fetched, and sometimes you can run out of things to grab and you have to wait for them to spawn
But overall? bangin' game my man, keep it up!
Firstly, the visuals were great! the atmosphere was quite well put together thanks to little details like the bottles on the rooftop.
The gameplay was simple, but sufficient as a more narrative game
The twist was a bit predictable and the general execution was a bit too fast-paced in my opinion, but it's understandable with such a short time, I think the story worked well enough and it was overall a really solid experience, good job!
I wanna try to play as many games as I can, so if you want a rating and a relatively in-depth review, you've come to the right place!
I might not rate instantly if I'm busy, but the review WILL come, I'll do my best to rate every game posted here!
(Also, don't be discourage if you see the post is old or there's more comments, I'll read every single one!)
In exchange, it would do us a great favor if you were to check out our game! It's about busting some crime-commiting goofy critters :D
Nice little murder mystery. First of all, the character portraits are totally adorable, really well done art, the spritework for the rooms and building is pretty nice as well.
I like the aspect of managing time, and the fake clues are a nice sprinkle of difficulty, it's true that some clues are more obvious than others but I think the game throws enough of a curveball as to not make it totally obvious on a first playthrough. I had suspicions on many of the characters and I actually had to think a little to figure the best spots to examine, that is really good.
The dialogue and the different characters are also quite well written with distinct personalities, it's really charming.
The music also sets the atmosphere quite well, like the antique shop guys song having the old timey filter or Malo's room having a more dramatic tune (a song in the map would have been nice though)
My only criticism would be, as many have pointed out, that it can be a bit hard knowing what to examine as the highlight is pretty lowkey
But overall? This game is great! I had quite a bit of fun playing, kudos to y'all!
This game has a lot of potential. I think the concept of growing your own enemies to defeat them and gain points is really cool, but like other commenters said it could have been fleshed out a bit more (though with the 7 day time limit it's totally understandable)
The visuals are nice and the way the crops run at you is pretty fun, the music is also nice although some sound effects would have done wonders to the combat
A really cool entry, kudos to the team!

This game is wonderful! the atmosphere is incredibly tense (the narration at the start does a great job immersing the player in the setting, great choice) the implementation of the theme is directly tied to the gameplay in a fabulous way, the visuals favor this style of game greatly and the audio helps with the paranoia of not knowing what's happening in the dark
Kudos to the team for a great game!
