Thanks!

Hi! Any chance you could add the base rune stone image as well?

Finally a full-featured terrain set that’s not trying to be cute and silly. These rocks are sharp. Thank you so much for your efforts!

Saw you on the stream - thanks so much for playing!

Mouthwateringly high level of polish! You made room solid for gameplay and narrative, tying it all together with a dynamic, cohesive art style. My first playthrough I ended up soft-locking myself by feeding all my villagers though… a little too much consumption. I’m stealing the 3-level volume knob for my future games!

Despite not being finished, it’s a solid concept with lots of mechanical space. If your goal was to practice game design, I think you achieved it! The coconut drink low poly model made me seriously thirsty.

Reminded me a bit of brewing concoctions in Kingdom Come: Deliverance! As a Russian speaker, I thought the voice acting was fantastic, too. Unfortunately I had a hard time figuring out how to stir slowly, and the game seemingly reset itself or crashed - but the narrator picked up the ball and called me out for leaving LOL.

Empty corporate simulation indeed! Reminds me of liminal spaces with a touch of Abiotic Factor. I had a hard time figuring out where to look up the replicator codes, but was able to get through quite a few orders after that!

The sounds really stood out to me - sharp, arcade-like, with great variety and contrast. The shader coupled with a rounded frame is also clever, making it seem like you’re seeing the entire game through an electron microscope. Great job!

This is extremely well done. I’ve decided to integrate it into my Godot game jam skeleton due to its breadth and flexibility.

Super cute. Any chance you could add the source file? I’d like to remix it so that you can walk and shoot at the same time, but it’s quite difficult without the original layers.

I seem to have gotten stuck in a closet, and no amount of button mashing would let me out!

Totally agree with you on all counts! I admit I ran out of time to further decorate the gym or implement settings, but all of those (especially integrating game state, high scores, etc. as gym decorations) are likely the next steps for this scene.

It crashed for me while loading the tutorial unfortunately!

I could not play very long because the camera triggered some serious motion sickness. I decided not to rate it as a result.

Unfortunately I could not run the downloaded EXE file. The error indicates it’s missing a PCK file.

That final rep math took some tuning hah! Feels great when you get it though. Thanks for playing!

The highest rank is actually 25,000! But hey, titanium traps is totally respectable.

Hey! Discord was a fun community this time around - hopefully I’ll see you there next time too! Thanks for trying it out. Looking forward to playing yours next!

Nailed the atmosphere. I was pretty spooked! I think the audio could have been more nuanced. I also had some performance issues at the beginning. Great entry!

Someone on the Discord asked the same thing, and a friendly user answered that signing was not required.

Great variety of effects here. I would have liked to see representation of a few more magical elements, specifically earth and water/ice, to fill out the spectrum. But if that's coming in a future pack - count me in.

Fantastic asset pack, I hope we get birds one day, too! Please message me if I can pay you to release packs for "air" and "sea", not just "earth".

Edit: Previously had an issue regarding color spaces but it turned out to be my own error.

Hi! Where can I get the boy/girl sprites?

Thanks for trying again. I'll see what I can do. By the way, feel free to join the Discord (link on the Itch page)! I would love to get to the bottom of this but it seems like you have a very different setup than me.

Just wanted to follow up after a little more investigation into the issue. I have added a kluge to work around the focus issue on web. If you click on the game once, it should enable keyboard controls. Let me know if it works now!

The keyboard instructions are not in the game, but rather on the Itch page just below the game window.

Here's the entirety of the text related to keyboard controls:

Keyboard Controls
I am investigating an issue with keyboard controls. At this time, due to browser security constraints, you must use the tab key to focus-cycle the game in order to enable keyboard controls.
I recommend just holding tab for a second to get through everything on the page. Once enabled, you may use the arrow keys for movement and the S/D/F keys to block, light attack, and heavy attack.

Hey thanks for checking it out! By the way there are keyboard commands, which is how I develop the game. You'll have to focus the game window first for them to work on Itch, I have instructions right below the game!

Try out the keyboard controls, it'll feel great on desktop. Arrow keys and S/D/F.

As usual, incredible art. Instant purchase.

Great art.

One tiny piece of feedback from me is to also distribute a version of the art without any effects applied - in my case, I cannot use the frame with the white hit/death effect applied.

Immediately purchased this. Great work! Please release more!

One problem I noticed is the "Death2" sprites are scaled x4 compared to the other sprites (488x336 instead of 122x84).

I'm integrating this with my game and find myself missing two basic animations: quaffing a potion, and throwing an item. Otherwise it's quite complete! Thanks again for your amazing work!

Some of the smoothest animations I've ever seen in pixel art.

Do you have any recommendations for UI packages (windows, borders, etc.) that go well with this art style? This is so detailed I'm having trouble finding anything similar.

Thank you so much for the prompt response. Cheers!

What's the font in the demo? I really like how it works with the rest of the UI.

Thanks for the reply - looking forward to it.

This is fantastic art. I'm currently making a game and would absolutely purchase more of this kind of enemy. Please let me know when you think the other goblins will arrive!

Amazing! Only thing I was missing was a "wind" spell, like a hurricane or tornado.
