I shouldn't have been quick to snap, I apologize. Your opinion is valid and understandable, sometimes people really do just make everything abt race when it's completely off topic. It takes away from when people speak up towards actual racism ----- I felt as though the person was on point and that there was some form of racism in people being so upset about not being able to self-insert in this game, you saying "we don't need to bring race into this" frustrated me because of that.

I love this, and you. People acting like they can't find another game where they CAN self-insert is so weird to me, POC/chubby women don't often appear as love interest in games or shows period, and if they do, it's not commonly long-lasting, I think this is so sweet of you to keep her as she is, and even planning to show her culture, she is her and beautiful at it, and I think you see that, this is not just about having a certain character, this is where those who go unnoticed in these genres, BE SEEN. So I am not sure if this was intentional or not but in "singin' in the rain" when you choose "stay put" it still makes the character hide behind cain 😭 just with different points.
