(Unofficial answer)

The judges are going through the games right now!

The original plan was for the games to all be played at the  "two weeks (or so)" from the finish date point, but those kinds of things are very difficult to estimate. After all, the last Kenney Jam had 463 entries. This one has 723 entries, quite a few more.

So, the answer to your question is "hopefully soon, but know that they're working on it!"

Very nice metroidvania, good stuff! The controls felt good, I never felt like I had any issue controlling my character. I liked the different bullet types, different sounds used, overall a nice game.

Good job 👏

Thanks very much! I would have loved to add even more puzzle to it, but 48 hours wasn't quite enough time, haha. I'm glad you enjoyed it, that's fantastic to hear. Thanks for playing :)

This was a neat one, I especially enjoyed experimenting trying to figure out what tool can be used for each spot. After I figured it out, I could happily work the bar back up from the low point and it felt like an accomplishment :D

Nicely done on so many challenges as well! Good game, and excellent job ^-^

I appreciate the comment! I'm happy you liked the game. Lots of work went into it ^-^

I'm glad you liked it, thanks for playing!

Thanks very much!

This feels incredibly polished. Great choice of game mechanic, good level design, the music choice was very enjoyable, and overall I had a lot of fun. I'm glad I got to try this one out :)

Well done, this is good!

Great job on the timer-length, it is very good for a tense close finish. Main menu, pause menu, sounds/music and good controls. You did very well on your submission :D

I was testing things out trying to get more details, and I think I may have found what was causing it.

If you're using FireFox and have the game full-screened, you can apparently click-and-drag from the left of the page to the right and select the full-screen window? I looked around for another game to test this with and found the same results with another Unity game or two. Seems to be an odd interaction between Unity and FireFox.

(Tested on Chrome as well, the bug is nonexistent. No blue at all.

Great to hear! One of the last-second changes was lowering the particle count in hopes of it running nicer. Hearing it's running nicely on a Raspberry Pi is a relief :D

Breaking boxes is great. Thanks very much for playing! We wanted picking up the stick to feel a bit like star-power from Mario ^-^ Glad you enjoyed :)

This one has some good replay value! Great music choice, nice design, and good gameplay. I gave it a good few attempts and ended up just above 2900 points :D

Happy to hear it! Thanks very much for playing the game :)

Phew, this one was intense. Great choice of music and assets, nicely done with those tasks. Multitasking was quite difficult XD I loved the detail of the start menu! My arch nemesis (nemesi?) were definitely the switch toggle puzzle and the "add up to this number" ones.

I think my character needs a raise. The poor intern 😅

Had a lot of fun playing, good job!

Thanks for playing! The stick of power is a mighty force indeed c:

I genuinely had a ton of fun playing this. Good enemy variety, fantastic music, and challenging gameplay.

I did find a few awesome bugs as well that you might want to try out!

  • You can shoot even when the game is paused. This makes you feel like you are a comic book character with a timefreeze power and it's awesome.
  • Even when you run out of health, you can keep going! I finished up the last wave in slo-mo with the game over screen up. I liked being able to finish up :)

I wasn't sure why the screen would flash blue occasionally, but apart from that it was a great experience overall :D

Congrats on a great submission ^-^

Quick question!

Is editing the game's page on itch after the deadline discouraged?

Adding/changing the screenshots, colors, text, etc.

We had a blast participating! Everybody did a great job. It was really neat reviewing games and seeing how everybody approached the themes.

Thank you all for a great event ^-^

Great challenge! It took me a few seconds, but I got how it works and had a blast (haha). I ended up getting a score of 114!

Very nicely done ^-^

I like it! Very good polish, great concept (decorating post-cards is great fun!), and well executed.

The extra modifiers were great as well. I did quite well until I picked an upgrade that depended on getting pink decorations, then had 2 cards in a row that hated pink XP

Enjoyed playing, nicely done!

I really enjoyed playing this! The puzzles were a lot of fun, and I liked that you mixed up what we were looking for. Which mage is in a specific position, which position has a specific mage, where we think a mage is, all very nice mix-ups to keep it fresh.

I enjoyed the puzzles, and got all the way through! Well, sort of. I ended up having to guess for 1 or 2 after getting it wrong 😅

Well done!

Quite fun! I loved the wide variety of bomb types, they add a lot to the game.

If I could add one thing, it'd probably be some kind of indicator to show when my dash is refreshed. Most of my deaths were because I kept thinking that the dash was ready when it wasn't 😅

This was a good entry. Lots of interesting gameplay with juggling heading towards danger for more bombs, and just trying to keep a safe exit plan.
Nicely done!

Very nice!

I really liked the chosen art style, and how well it all came together. I have to say, the biggest danger to me while driving had to be how amused I was by the dialog happening XD
The controls were straight-forward and I didn't have trouble controlling the car. The sounds were good for immersion as well.

I have to agree, rocket boosters would be a great addition 🙂
Great job on the game!

Quite a good job! Left me with an unsettled feeling.

On my earlier run I was too distracted by the stuff in the background and didn't stop in-time. That caught me off-guard XP I also thought the dialog was well written. The change in tone at the end was a great touch.

Very nicely done. I enjoyed playing ^-^

Very impressive entry!

The graphics all go together very well, the controls feel great (I went with the recommended controls, but I loved having an option!), it's a very good idea and very well executed.
Multitasking driving around while (most-of-the-time) dodging enemies while also  exploding enemies feels great. I ended up being defeated by the wave featuring the big one, but I'll definitely be back for more.

Excellent job on this submission!

Thanks for the advice, very helpful! In fact, it's so helpful, I've managed to improve my scores quite a bit :)

Multitasking for the egg & toast & milk was great. Had to keep switching between cooking and pouring XP

Great fun, this game 😄

I was giving it some more attempts, and they were getting stuck on eachother right near the end. I was sure it must have been bugged or something when it said I was first, but nope! One overtook me on the last corner of the final lap :')
If only I had grabbed an item instead of just going for the finish... 😅
Next time for sure!

I saw this one posted before the jam ended and thought it looked great. I've been looking forward to trying it out, and it did not disappoint!

The overall experience was very polished. Good idea, good execution, wonderful music, and lots of characters to give directions to!
Probably the only thing I feel was missing was an ending to the game. Apart from that, everything is wonderful :)
I also really appreciate that the game showed an example of where the player would move when you select a card. That was a fantastic idea.

Excellent job on this project. Everything came together so well :D

This is a good one!

Role-swaps are always a fun idea for a game. And you picked a great idea for the theme!
It was fun zipping around out-maneuvering the "player" for a while. I went up to 3000 points before stopping :)
I also love the texture you used for the bullets. It took me ages to realize what that was XD

Nicely done!

This one is fantastically complete!

Everything is there. Music, complete sets of levels, sounds, puzzle solving, approachable understandable and satisfying mechanics, etc.

I especially liked seeing the pictures come together at the end of a level. Sometimes I'd see it coming, other times it'd be a pleasant surprise ^-^

Great job :D

I really enjoyed playing this one! Some of those levels are really tough.

Overall, the gameplay reminded me of Octo-Dad, but with cooking. The mechanics of putting everything together and trying to optimize for a specific dish was fun.  Admittedly, my only 3 star at the moment is Lasagna. But, I still had fun!

If I could add any one thing game-machanic-wise, it'd probably be some kind of indicator as to why a dish gained/lost points. I assume I'm too slow with my fried egg cooking, but it'd be nice to be sure that it's the speed I need to work on!

I liked this game quite a bit, you all did great ^-^
Hoping to come back later to get those stars :D

Great fun! Doris was a force to be reckoned with.

Loved the volume controls on the main menu, and the controls were good. Felt satisfying upgrading Doris' scooter after races :)

I unfortunately didn't manage to beat the last race, there were always about 3 other racers that were way faster than me. I'd like to try again later, I plan to form a cone-blockade XD

Really liked this entry. Had a lot of fun playing!

Well done ^-^

This was good fun.

I tried messing with  the levels mode, but it kept outputting an error to the console about an out-of-range index every-time I tried to hit "Submit". So, I played endless for a while instead. It was fun! It was especially interesting when I had to start managing duplicating dice instead of just rerolling so that I'd have enough dice to finish.

Zooming out worked well, but only when my browser was zoomed out to 50%. Otherwise the dice wouldn't register clicks right. (they would have offset click-areas)

Nice choice of music as well! It went very well with the vibe of the game.

Overall, you did great! Nicely done 😄

Physics-based rolling game! I had fun playing through this.

That last level was a toughie! Good concept, good execution, overall I had a enjoyable experience :)

Nicely done!

The game said I was cool. I like it. Very nicely done!

I quite liked the art, great humor XD
Good controls, and I liked the forgiving amount of lives.

I had fun. Good job! Cool 😎

This is an interesting one!

It's not everyday one comes across a second-person-view camera in a game. But, this one worked quiet well.
I don't know if there was an ending, but I ended up walking around for a while (backwards 😅) and exploring.

Well done on the implementation, this turned out a neat experience :)

This was a fun one to play through! I went through all of the levels :)

I enjoyed the combination of assets you used, they went well together. I also liked the menus. You don't come across many menus in these game-jams, so it was great to see!
The hitboxes were a bit unforgiving at times especially noticeable on levels 7 and 10. (I would be running full-speed and they'd hit me from 2-3 slimes away while facing away from me 😅)
Good bomb-throw mechanic and level variety. Nice call making all of the levels unlocked by default too, great for jams.

I enjoyed my time playing this. Good job!

A chain-reaction puzzle game! Nice idea.

I played for a while experimenting with how things work. It's an interesting set of mechanics!
I was never 100% clear on how exactly the score is added up, so I ended up being stuck at the one with the 2 flag bombs, 3 regular bombs, 1 mult bomb, and 2 matches.
I think you get an extra 5 points for every extra branch of bombs you explode from a single bomb? And the mult bomb only multiplies the score from the chain that triggered it?

In any case, well done on this. I had fun, and I liked the graphics quite a bit. Nice touch with the rotating dotted-line!

I had a lot of fun playing this one!

I did a couple of rounds with various upgrades and enjoyed dashing around all over the place.
On that note, I spent quite a while dashing like a mad-man just flying across the arena XD

Very enjoyable. Good job!
