I appreciate the feedback and the kind words about my work. I’ve actually found that most of my supporters prefer these larger, comprehensive packs because they get better value and a cohesive set of models compared to buying individual assets.

As for the source files, those are really intended for a small group of power users who need that extra level of customization. For the vast majority of creators, the standard files are more than enough. That said, I’m always listening to the community, so I may reevaluate the pricing for those source files down the road. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

Thanks for the feedback — I appreciate you calling that out. The extra cost covers the full VoxEdit source project (not just the exported .vox): you get the .vxm, .vxa, .vxr files with keyframe animations, rigging/pose data and editable settings so you can modify or create animations and export different .vox versions. That level of editability saves a lot of time for creators who want to customize or extend the asset.

You’re welcome!

Thank you for your support.

Yes, absolutely!

Your proof of purchase and the download itself serve as your confirmation of the license.

  • ✅ Commercial license: You can use the voxel models in any commercial or personal project (games, apps, etc.), forever.
  • ✅ End‑product rights: Finished games built with these assets can be sold on any store (Steam, itch.io, consoles, mobile, etc.) without extra royalties.
  • ❌ No reselling as assets: You may not repack and resell the raw assets or prefabs themselves as your own asset pack on other marketplaces (e.g., Unity Asset Store, ArtStation, CGTrader,Fab, etc).

I was thinking more of something like Alexander the Great, Caesar, Genghis Khan, etc.

Now, only GLTF and Unitypackage formats are available.
I need to update the pack to include .vox files as well (thank you for noticing!).

Secondly, to be honest, I hadn't thought of that, but I was picturing something more like ancient ones!

Yes! All the recent packs include the vox files. I have updated the description.

Hi Alastair! Yes, I received your message and have just sent a detailed reply to your email. Please check your inbox (and spam folder, just in case) so we can continue the conversation there. Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion! Now the Mummy character includes the FBX file format!
Could you let me know which other models you’d like FBX files for?
As for the animations, all the models can use the same animations, so that should work out well.

Hello!

Only 25 models have .vox files. The rest were created using VoxEdit, so they have some parts that have been rotated. If you open these models as .vox files, they won't look the same. That's why I didn't include them.

Finally, I've also added a .unitypackage.

I hope this helps!

I don't know about you guys, but I felt like I got scammed!😅🤣

Your welcome!

Commercial Use: You can use the asset in both free and commercial games.
The asset needs to be integrated into your game, not resold or distributed on its own.

I guess we'll never know. 😢 😂
