Glad you liked it!

Thanks for playing our game!

Thanks for giving our game a shot!

Glad to see that you enjoyed the story.

But yeah. I do agree that the ending was rushed.

Hopefully we're able to expand on it after the Jam's over.

Been playing some games and some I found are very good.

Wanna put a post out to see if anyone can put links at the comments so anyone can play it.

Some of those games have low ratings so I figured why not help them out.

Any hidden gems y'all found and played in this Game Jam so far?

40+ games so far!

I'm mainly reviewing games that are in need of reviews!

Hope you can play our game and give us good feedback haha. Thanks! https://itch.io/jam/gdevelop-big-game-jam-9/rate/4605228

Thanks for giving our game a shot though!

Glad you liked the audio and visuals of our game!

Nice minigame haha, loved how it worked each time I played it.

Nice lore for the game. I love the limbo-like aesthetic for the game art. Props!

Funni.

Loved the cutscenes to drive the story. But I do admit the gameplay was way too fast and ended too fast haha, maybe another more tougher opponent would be great. But overall, very nice.

Really nice little minigame haha. Would love it to be a endless game though, and a score counter maybe, that would be better for this game as well, nice prototype.

So you've used the GDevelop's racing / driving template, but there's no goal, nowhere to drive to, and overall just some additional assets ported in.

It's fine if you do use them, but you gotta have at least some gameplay logic in-place for people to at least try it.

It's already an awesome start since this is your first game haha. Keep going!

Hmm, you could've written a more in-depth story than just a few sentences imo. Yes the dark ambience is nice. But without a proper gameplay arc or story, it's not as interesting as it seems.

I would really love to rate this game, and it seems like y'all put in a lot of effort too. But itch.io and gd.games is just too buggy in the sense that after I access the buy menu and buy a block, I wanna exit it, but by pressing esc in both itch.io and gd.games, it freaks out and I can't exit the buy menu, the block I bought is gone as well.

I love the physics on this lol, I enjoy flinging the character around and stuff XD.

Not bad for this game concept, very nice haha, I enjoyed the rock chaos and firing from all sides. Hope you're able to build on this concept in the future!

I'm glad you loved the build up and art style haha.

Thanks for giving our game a chance!

Thanks for giving our game a shot!

We were going for a deeper story for this project for sure haha.

Decent concept. Would love to see you expand more on it. Though I'm not sure how it fits with this Game Jam's theme, but it's a neat idea to try to expand on.

Genuinely an innovative idea with an awesome execution. I loved the cutscene to the gameplay mechanics. Very smooth. Props!

Not a bad shooter. Great potential. Probably can implement more innovative ideas and stuff to separate your game with the other shooters. But a nice start!

Would love more level variety and maybe a floor system to resemble the theme more. But concept wise, pretty decent.

Nice game. I loved the graphics and art style of the game. However, I'm a bit confused as to how this fits the theme. Score I guess? But genuinely fun to be honest. I loved the music and the combinations of colours and beats, cool stuff!

Not a bad game. Interesting idea. Maybe the graphics and details could be improved in the future but in the meantime, props!

Loved that it's a rhythm game and its manga cutscene! Very innovative!

Really nice to play. Love that it's a rhythm game.

I love this. Reminds me of Doom but with a twist. The audio is nice, and the visuals fit the uneasy vibe. However, some parts lagged for me (Too much details?). But overall, very nice.

Played the gd.games link version. It's just a racing template from GDevelop. The Game Thumbnail seems fake.

Loved the gameplay of this, reminds me of Newgrounds flash games haha. However some levels did lag my screen for a bit till I clear some of them, and it also seems like a regular bullet hell shooter, which is fine since we don't have a lot of time, but other than that, nice stuff.

I couldn't play the game on itch.io itself, so I played it on the gd.games link. Art seems nice, but the game speed is too slow to invoke any intensity for dodging obstacles. Nice tutorials as well.

Game Art is nice to view, but gameplay controls are confusing. A tutorial would help immensely.

Likewise. The art is nice, but I don't get the controls.

Readme page doesn't load. Can't play the game.

Nice game. Loved the visuals of the game and how polished the controls are. The game mechanics are pretty neat too. Props.

Smol little game. Me like. Simple n Easy. Props!

Pretty enjoyable! Love the simple idea of the game. Simple yet effective. However, some audio effects sounded rather loud, would prefer it to be a bit softer haha, and UI could be more centered I guess for the confirm button? But the soundtrack and the quirkiness of the game's art really made me enjoy it a lot more. Props!

Love me some good and simple visual aesthetics. The gameplay is simple and quite pleasing to the eye as well. Though I didn't hear any audio and at the start of the game, the main menu doesn't show up and the controls don't work till the first retry button comes in. But overall, nice stuff!
