Will there be a base template for people to make their own vtuber sprites?

I slugged through the tutorial. I'm not a fan of how they do a full multi-page description of everything, and THEN unlock stuff to do step-by-step instructions. New people are going to be put off by all the text.
I can't play the Halloween content, b̶e̶c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶ t̶h̶e̶ 'c̶r̶e̶a̶t̶e̶ s̶l̶o̶t̶' f̶u̶n̶c̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ i̶s̶ b̶u̶g̶g̶e̶d̶ a̶n̶d̶ d̶o̶e̶s̶n̶'t̶ d̶o̶ a̶n̶y̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶. Okay, turned out I needed to add a name at the top for it to work. They could have it generate a default name, though.
I've been playing a while and enjoyed it as a chill game with occasional horror, but now I know I only got 40-ish in-game days until it all ends, I'm feeling a little pressured to min-max my time, and it's less enjoyable. (And yeah, I know there's other modes that last forever, but that removes the story events).
Originally, I thought story progression was based on the events and signals you encounter and places you explore, and I wonder if that could be made an alternative option.
I already know about the res.txt file and added my monitor's native resolution of 2560x1080 to it. While it looks great, the game seems to have issues with such a wide aspect ratio. Namely, Items I'm 'Holding' don't show up on screen, and the console screens are zoomed in too far to see what I'm typing.
It's only playable if I use a regular resolution and tolerate the image stretching, so I hope there's a fix.
