The game does suck this is true but your progress is not lost when dying
Thank you so much for playing! I'll be working on a bug fix but in the meantime: the path forward was in the note you read in the medical tent where you found the third body. Also be sure to inspect the campsite area more thoroughly to stay alive ;)
