By movement I mean it can be made to feel better, currently movement has some clunky feeling, especially wall movement, not saying it’s bad, but it can be made better

I liked the duckling’s art and animation, but more can be done in regards to movement and use of game mechanics like the jumping platform

Oh didn’t notice that time decreases, I guess because it was the same number each time

I see that you added a lot of small details to refine the game, whether that is achievements and collectables, the main menu look, ability enter a seed to retry the same layout and other stuff, which all is great, but I think the main game loop is lacking, I was mostly just swimming up diagonally using any breathing spot I can find, which wasn’t really fun for me, I would have rather preferred a main game loop that was more fun even if it lacked any achievements or polish. But like I said I appreciate the effort spent on the polish, good job!

Thanks, yes I was going for the feeling of finding that finger pattern that flows with you so that you can easily input it quickly with almost no thinking

Thanks!

Fewer keys would have definitely made the easier levels better, thanks for the suggestion

I was curious about the boss, but when I saw the amount you needed to play against him I decided to stop there, sorry

The idea is nice, but I found my self dying a lot of times because I couldn’t get the character to jump when I wanted, which was frustrating

Love the art and the feeling of the game, but the last part was more frustrating than fun since I needed to memorize what’s gonna happen

I liked the atmosphere, but would have liked something more than the tasks in terms of game play

Nice game, my index finger got tired from spamming the mouse button

Interesting idea, I’m horrible at multitasking so this was very hard for me

That wasn’t bad, liked the animation

What I did was go around circles and shoot at the middle, it did get me a lot of money, but it wasn’t much fun since I kept doing the same thing over and over, buying power ups didn’t change that

It wasn’t clear at first that you can swipe the screen to go left/right/down, only realized after accidentally swiping

Cute little game, all the puzzles made sense

I liked the idea of choosing your next letter, but I feel the other ideas didn’t add much meaning to the game

Minesweeper was too slow because of the movement, if I wanted to play minesweeper I would have preferred the original game over this

I recommend to continue building the game until you think it represents your idea well enough, so that you can see how the idea actually plays out when it’s fully implemented

(1 edit)

That was fun

I think it needs more balancing as I was overpowered by focusing on 3s, 6s and 9s

But for a jam entry that’s understandable, I also think I had a bug where some cards were not ticking visually

The idea is nice and I think it has potential, but the level design could be improved a lot

I liked the unexpected thing in the last level, but I think the main idea needs more rework to make it more enjoyable

I would have liked if other things changed as time goes on other than having more enemies

I loved the sound effects when stopping the fight, I would have liked if all tasks became harder the more you need to do them, the phone number one was the same every time you did it

I didn’t like the fact that all puzzles are completely unrelated to each other, this feels like 5 unrelated mini games were combined together rather than creating one coherent game

Dude, the last two levels were Beautiful, loved them

The begging is pretty tough, especially that it takes time to figure out what is going on, and later on I find my self just spamming roll until I get a non 0 value, which wasn’t very interesting

The idea is nice, but game play wise, it does get repetitive pretty quickly

I liked the soda theme, but hitting obstacles when going down because you haven’t seen them wasn’t fun

I liked that you had high places to stand at, I went with playing it safe and staying away from hordes, which lets you survive but it gets boring after a while

Enjoyable puzzle, the art looks good, but I didn’t like that you have to redo all the levels when you lost, I think only having to repeat the level you lost at would make it more fun for me

I played it on linux, you can do that by adding this to steam as a non steam game and then in the game settings under compatibility, force the use of the latest proton version

Having to quickly figure out whether to decrease current cards or replace some and then see what happens was fun. One thing that was unexpected is that the tutorial wasn’t given when you start the game, I thought that was gonna happen when I started a new game, but instead I had to go back to the main menu and select it there. Another thing is selecting cards to be replaced, I though the cards you clicked were the ones going to be replaced, it was the other way around

Thank you, I tried making it so that if you figured out the solution the actual execution is not that hard, probably needed a lot more play testing to ensure that was the case

Thanks! Hopefully more fun than frustrating 😅

Thank you, yeah I realized that more explanation was needed, especially since in a game jam people won’t put much effort into figuring out stuff on their own

Actually I also used on black hole bomb in addition to the 3 explosive ones, that wasn’t clear in my comment

The idea of the having the version go down is nice, I was able to beat it on easy but couldn’t do it on hard. It was fun, but felt like the main idea of the version going down wasn’t used strongly enough in terms of game mechanics

This was very good, almost every puzzle had an aha! moment and the game felt very smooth when it executed the solutions, loved it. Btw I think I solved the last level in an unintended way, I only used 3 explosive bombs
