Yeah I was scared about scoping everything too, and you managed to do that flawlessly! Bravo! Hope you enter next year - you have the chops to do it again for sure!

Insanely cool idea! I love how you incorporated such a detailed art style, especially as a solo dev! I'm sure that must've taken you a really long time to finish - amazing job! Some mechanic ideas I had in mind can include upgrades for how long you can press the button for, how fast the repair robot goes, and how slow the storms stay there. Maybe you can add more things for players to keep track of, like invaders trying to hijack the rocket and blow up another rocket, or maybe a shield where you have to deflect lightning from the storms? Either way, phenomenal job with the game! Good luck the rest of your jam and thank you SO MUCH for checking out my game! :D
The art style is super unique! I love how you made your page super cool too! Maybe you can add a mechanic where the pointer jolts backwards for a second to mess up the timing in later stages, especially as the arrow gets closer to the zone? Maybe you can also add a mechanic where pop-ups appear on the screen to interrupt the player or trick them into clicking before it disappears? Either way, I'm glad you were able to submit the game before the deadline! I know it must have been stressful to make a game with such a tight deadline, especially if you completed it 18 seconds before the deadline lol - your work will not be in vain! I wish you the best of luck on the jam, and I hope you get some good rest!
This was super cool! I'm glad you were able to submit it before the deadline! I know it must have been hard struggling to fit everything you wanted to put in the game in such a limited time, but I'm glad you were able to get it done! For some mechanics you could add, maybe you can have a lever where you have to move a bomb over that button to open a door and you have to exit before the bomb explodes? Maybe you can also add a mechanic where a laser moves across the map and you have to stand perfectly still on that turn where you were standing over? Either way, I hope you can join next year so that you can make an even cooler game! Good luck the rest of your jam!
Cool mechanic idea! Maybe you could add more weapons that you have to check the magazines on, like a machine gun or a shotgun! Maybe you could have a mechanic where you can grab items that give you a comically large chamber where you can have more bullets to shoot with without blowing up? Maybe you can add a mechanic where you can use the empty gun as a bomb and throw it at enemies for them to pick up, only to explode? Either way, I'm glad you were able to submit this entry before the deadline - I know how stressful it can be to release a game 11 seconds before the deadline lol! Good luck on the rest of your jam!
This is a really funny entry! I was not expecting a lot of fart jokes in a game jam entry like this LMAO. Maybe you can add some features where your fart stench could give you super speed, or a fart cloud that lets you teleport to another spot on the map, or maybe you could have farts that could be used as attacks for enemies? Either way, it sounds like you had a lot planned for your game, and I hope you can get some good rest and then implement those mechanics you want to put in - congrats on submitting it 4 seconds before the deadline! Good luck on the rest of your jam!
Hats off to you for finishing it 1 second before the deadline LMAO - I don't think I can handle that much stress at once. I wonder what more features you're gonna add to the game - maybe you can add a mechanic where you can go through walls, or generate a wall below your feet when the countdown goes to that value, or maybe there could be an ability where you can have a magnet for the key to grab? I would also recommend having players always having the reset button available to them instead of waiting for the timer to run out! I'm glad you were able to finish your game on time, and I hope you get some great rest after this! Good luck the rest of your jam!
Now you just gotta make the narrator more sarcastic and nonchalant LMAO. I'm curious to see if you will add any more objects on the screen - maybe you can add a red circle that is like a magnet that pulls the Godot image closer to it, or a plant circle that attaches to the Godot image like a rope for a limited time period and you have to find the right time to let go, or maybe some spikes where the Godot picture gets attached to them for a period of time, freezing you in place. Either way, I'm curious to see what you can come up with for future iterations! Good luck with the rest of the game jam, and thank you for playing my game!
Love this take on Billards! I love how you were able to get this working on your phone - I couldn't load it on my computer for some reason but I'm totally sure that you could use this game for a super cool party trick for your buddies! Maybe you could have multiple kinds of balls like the pickle ball where they give you special properties like increased movement or an opposite magnet where you push balls away with your aura, or a ball that moves around the table without you hitting it, but it gets you a lot of time? Either way, I hope you had a good time with this game jam! Good job submitting it before the deadline - I know it was stressful managing to finish a game with such little time left, especially if you're crunching an hour before! Good luck with the rest of the jam, and thank you for reviewing my game!
This is super cool - I love how you were able to intuitively understand the mechanics of the game without it teaching you much! I wonder what you're gonna add for the next iteration - maybe you could add enemies that move around the screen, or enemies that move directly toward you, or a glider character could glide down with you like an ally, maybe that ally could be used to help talk about the narrative of the game! Either way, I hope you continue to iterate on this game - I think a lot of people are gonna love this game! Good luck the rest of your jam, and thank you for playing my game too!
LOVE the idea of health and ammo intertwined together! Very pleasantly surprised when I played your game - I had a lot of 0 planes chase after me and I didn't want to waste any of my ammo, and I'm curious if you wanted to add an attack where you can use it without using your health ammo, like a melee attack? Something that could help get rid of those 0 health ships without spending ammo? Maybe you could have a boss where you have to spend your health to activate specific mechanics, like it activates an opening? Either way, You did a phenomenal job with the amount of time you were given! Good luck with the rest of the jam!
I love how you can alternate between two different weapons in this game - maybe you can add a mechanic where every time you hit a creature with a sword, you can have the player teleport to where that creature was killed and then chain it together with another quick blade attack that teleports to another creature, kind of like a ninja teleporting to an enemy, and then killing that enemy before teleporting to another, or a domain expansion that creates an aura around your guy that instantly teleports you to that enemy and kills them? Either way, I'm glad you were able to submit this game before the deadline - I can totally understand how stressful it can be when you're rushing to finish a game an hour before the deadline, so I highly respect the hustle! Good luck with the rest of your jam!
The 3D models and atmosphere look great! Maybe you can add some mechanics where you have enhanced combat abilities like a parry mechanic where you can deflect bullets back at enemies, or a charge shot with the ray blaster, or a dash ability! I'm pumped to see what else you can come up with - this was pretty funny to play too. There was one time where the camera was upside down and I had to move around backwards LOL. I don't know how that bug was there, but when I changed the sensitivity, it might've changed the camera LOL. Either way, great job submitting a day before the deadline - you are super early compared to most other developers here! You should be proud for managing your time and scale efficiently! Good luck the rest of your jam!
This game was funny, especially the sound effects when you were running out of time! I thought the game was crashing when I heard that sound effect LOL. I would love to see what kind of plans you had for your game, because maybe you can add some cool abilities that help enhance your performance, like increased speed for every time you kill an enemy, or when you get hit by an enemy, it knocks you back like a bumper car. Either way, great job submitting this game before the deadline - I know it must've been hard submitting it an hour before the deadline, but I respect that you were able to stick with it and submit it! Good luck with the rest of your jam!
I love the poetic instructions that was really funny LMAO - the fonts you used and the backgrounds were also really cool! I think what I would recommend if you are iterating on this game further is to have a dotted line or a guide to where your attack is going to land, especially since you can't really see the range on your attacks until you get a powerup that lets you get more range. Maybe you can also have varying different kinds of creatures with the slimes, like they split up into smaller slimes whenever they would get hit? A map or a mini-map that players can look at to help them navigate the world to help prevent them from moving outside of the borders might also be helpful. Either way, I hope you're able to iterate further on this game if you want to, and I hope you can make it for next year! Good luck with the rest of your jam!
This game was funny, especially with the physics mechanics when you make the food! I love how when you pick up the food, it spins around whenever it collides with anything. The spoon moving so fast when you stir the food is also pretty funny. What if you made a funny sound effect whenever you would die, and then the camera would be sent flying away from the map? Or the food could be like slop that looks weird and flops around with the physics environment? What if there's an ingredient where there's a Grimace Shake LMAO? Either way, great job submitting a game on time - I know it must've been difficult trying to finish everything you can in such a short time period, especially since you had an hour left to finish it. Good luck for the rest of your jam!
Great job on your very first game! You should be very proud of yourself for managing to complete this game in such a short time, especially on your phone too! I loved your TV video that you made too that was a pretty funny jumpscare LOL. Not that many people work finish a game AT ALL, so I think you should give yourself more credit, especially in such a tough game jam like GMTK. Hope your YouTube audience will like it - I think they'll appreciate the effort you put in for stepping out of your comfort zone! Good luck with the rest of your jam!
Don't get discouraged for not being able to finish it the way you wanted to - your health is way more important and I hope you'll be able to attend next game jam because your game is great, especially the story and visuals! I love how you incorporated Y2K theory with food people - I feel like not that many developers can make a good story with the limited time they got! I'm interested to see how you expand on this game further (if you want to work on this game again of course). Either way, I hope you can come back for next year and try again - it's really cool that you were able to make a game despite everything!
Very cool idea! Maybe you could add more obstacles that the players could navigate around, like lasers that target specific areas of the map like the bottom half of the map after a set period of time, or the walls closing in on you after a specific time period, or an indicator on where your character will move when you hold down WASD keys? Either way, great job managing to submit it before the deadline - I know you might've been rushing to get it done an hour before the jam ended, but it's very cool that you managed to get it done! Great job - I wish you good luck on the rest of your jam!
Here's my score! Super fun game! Maybe you could have a leaderboard where players can post their scores on! Maybe also in this leaderboard you could have different milestone titles that you can reach depending on what your score is! For example, you could have 800-1000 as MASTAPIECE or 0-200 as [INSERT TRASH MEME SOUND EFFECT HERE] or something goofy like that. Either way, I had a great time and I'm curious to see how far you expand on this game! Good luck the rest of your jam!

This is such an interesting spin on the chess genre! I'm curious to see what kind of strategies and techniques like specific openings and tactics players can use to get more bottle caps! Maybe you can have a lessons page where players can learn techniques on how specific openings and strategies can be played, like how moving bottle caps a specific side or moving them all in a specific spot can help get more pieces? Maybe you can also add a leaderboard where the more stacked caps you have total, the more points you can earn too? Maybe also a ranked mode where you can play other players? Either way, very interesting idea and would love to see more be made with this! Good luck with the rest of your jam!
Dude that 21 seconds is goated honestly. I don't think you necessarily need to build it from the ground up - it's a great game as is! I think you just need to refine a couple of things and adding them on top of the base game - I think you should give yourself a little more credit! Don't let this game jam get you down - now that you have a lot you learned, you know what you can do for next jam, which I hope you'll join. Keep going, goat.
I applaud you for managing to finish this game in time for the jam - you must have been stressing SO HARD LMAO. Hope you get some good rest after - I hope you can still make it for the next jam! Maybe you could add a storefront where you can go to a shop that gives you food that helps your baby bombs poop out bigger poop for more money LMAO? Maybe you can have a store where you can give them electronics to help cure their boredom and give you perks, like faster poop or bigger trash can? However you want to improve on the game, you did a fantastic job submitting it on time! Good luck with the rest of your jam!
This felt very satisfying to play - I love how you have literally all the money in the world at the bottom of the level that the camera doesn't even catch up LMAO. The sound effects were what got me - I can feel it itching my brain every time I dug into a material. Honestly, the game felt super easy once I got the TNT - I didn't know that it was unlimited use. Maybe you can have a leaderboard for measuring how much money people got by the end of the game? Maybe there could also be enemies like Silverfish where they emerge once you break a block? However you want to work on your next iteration, I'm sure it would be very fun to play! Good luck the rest of your jam!
I rarely get to play autobattlers so this was a great experience for me! What if you could add like a parry mechanic where you can hold off on attacking for one turn and have a chance of reflecting an attack back at the enemy? Maybe you could also have an ability like Roman Cancels where you can buy an upgrade to do another attack if you manage to hit an enemy for a specific amount? Either way, this was great for me to introduce myself to autobattlers! Keep up the great work!
The art style is so distinct and unique! It's like a Game Boy game! For some levels, maybe you could have platforms that bounce you up like a spring, and you have to hold down to charge it before it springs you upwards? Maybe you can also have a parry mechanic where you have to reflect a projectile that explodes a certain barrier to get to the next level? Either way, I'm excited to see if you come back to this kind of game what iterations you have for it next! Great job submitting a game! I loved how short it was - it was concise and on point! Good luck the rest of your jam!
Bro I love counting sheep bruh that's how I feel asleep LOL - Great game! You put so much into it so fast too! I noticed that you got it done 3 days before the deadline?! That's crazy! Very impressive! I think it would be really cool if you wanted to add a block that is moveable or that can become moveable once you activate a switch by stepping on it, maybe? Maybe you could go for a leaderboard to see who can do it for the least amount of moves? Either way, I would love to see future iterations of this game if you want to! Good luck the rest of your jam!
I love chess! I tried to pull the Bowdler Attack and it worked out very poorly LMAO - maybe you could have some quick tutorials on specific openings and tactics that could work really well in this game and also in actual chess too! I'm curious to see how specific openings and tactics in chess play out in this game versus in actual chess! Thank you so much for showing your game! Good luck the rest of the jam!
Yeah I definitely felt all of my neurons activating on all cylinders LMAO - this was really fun! I would love to see more layers of money underneath the golden ones in the future - maybe a blue diamond one can be worth $10 and a green emerald one would be worth $20? Maybe there could be a leaderboard for how many turns you were able to clear the table? What if you made a Roomba on screen that sucks up all of the coins for you, just like the auto-collector? That could be really funny LMAO. Either way, you did a great job with this entry! I had a great time! Good luck with the rest of your jam!
Wow, that was creepy! You definitely did a great job setting the mood with the game! What if you could have a mechanic that lets you sabotage the other player, like hack their screen to interrupt their progress, or hacking the score to get yourself a higher score? Maybe you could also unplug the cords of the monitors to delay the opponent? Either way, very excited to see what you can come up with for the next iterations!
This is so fun! I would love to see more mechanics coming out of this game post-jam! Some ideas that you could do for your next iteration could be a parry mechanic, especially with the lightning attack! Maybe you could heal health every time you parry an attack or a wall? Either way, very excited for what you can come up with!
The artwork was really cool, the audio was very sick, and the shooting mechanics were sweet! The character designs were very dynamic and colorful in personality, which was awesome! If you wanted to take the idea further, I think I would recommend having an indicator of when the vampires would be able to attack so that you can plan out how you are going to shoot them! I would love to see you dive deeper into the lore of Count Dracula and his master plan for the player (if there is one obviously). Otherwise, amazing entry! Good luck the rest of your jam!
I'm blown away that even though it was made by 3 people, one person was able to code EVERYTHING in the game - that is some serious commitment and pure will. Insanely great job doing this all in 4 days - you deserve every single bit of it.
Some mechanic ideas that would be really cool to see could be a parry mechanic, where you can halt your movement and then you have a chance to deflect a move back at the enemy, a drive rush mechanic where you have a power where you can dash forward multiple spaces for the price of one turn, a Roman Cancel where you have a power that lets you attack again without wasting a turn once you manage to land a hit, a Rage mechanic where at low health, you can have a power that explodes everything around the AOE, a power that can let you teleport through walls and borders of the game (maybe there could be a secret level on the other side?), or a defensive power-up where you're given armor? Either way, I'm sure you have plenty of ideas you guys can iterate on and make your games even better! Good luck this jam - you guys will kill it!
If you're curious about more mechanic ideas, check out some fighting games like Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and Guilty Gear: Strive - I'm a competitive player in those games so if you're looking for more ideas check those games out!
Incredible game! Incredibly cool that you were able to make such great art in such a short period of time! The timing mechanics were really well executed and smooth - it went by beautifully! I think it might be cool if you added a leaderboard to the game, with different rankings for each milestone of time to see how well you did! Maybe you could also add a cutscene for each milestone you reach on that leaderboard! I would also love to see the expansion of the lore surrounding the WarioWare character backstory along with how he was trained with Looney Tunes logic - that could be a really funny comedy story! Maybe he's on a game show or a reality show where he survives against a world ruled by Looney Tunes and WarioWare logic!
