Thanks a lot! Well, there is actually a plot twist regarding the character at the very end… As soon as we fix the balance and make the last cycle more reachable, please give our game another try to reveal it!

Absolutely loved the visuals and music! I’m a huge fan of hand-drawn 2D graphics. Blinking eyes on the birch trees, wow!!

Was amazed when accidentally did a flip! 😱

Thanks a lot, we’re really glad to hear that! We’ll polish the balance after the jam ends to make the randomness feel less cruel and more strategically driven (while luck plays a big role, there is an underlying logic to how different rooms affect your run, and we hope to refine it into a better overall experience).

Thanks again for your review!

P.S. We would’ve absolutely nailed it if the prerequisite had been constant randomness instead of keyboard input after all 🤣

That’s an impressive game!

First of all, the visuals are stunning. The full cinematic intro left me breathless! The lighthouse works as a strong metaphor for isolation, which makes the whole experience truly atmospheric.

However, it wasn’t immediately clear what exactly I was supposed to do. At first, I tried guiding the ships beyond the top edge of the map, based on the mission text “until they slip beyond the lighthouse’s reach.” Then I tried bringing the ships close to the lighthouse itself. Later, I noticed the safe havens (small islands marked with icons resembling ships) and attempted to dock the ships there. None of these approaches worked. After that, I guided a ship toward the green beam of light on the map, then I tried the blue one, and finally the red beam. At first, I assumed the red light was something to avoid, since red usually signals danger, but this time it worked!

I would happily return to this game in the future if you decide to develop it into a full project! This has huge potential!

I really enjoyed playing your game! It’s engaging and has great exploration-treasure-hunting vibes, which is so cool :)

The in-game tutorial is nicely presented, making it easy to learn the mechanics.

One small suggestion would be to zoom out the camera a bit, so the player can better see the character’s legs and plan movements more comfortably.

Thanks a lot, we are delighted to hear it!
Will definitely check out your game!

Thanks a lot for your feedback, it's highly appreciated!

We're planning to rebalance the game after the jam ends to improve the overall experience; due to time constraints, we weren’t able to polish it as much as we originally intended.

While it's highly random indeed, there is still a strategy to follow (not 100% winnable, but helpful)

As for the logs, there is also a system: each cycle has a fixed number of logs. Every replay reveals a unique log until all logs for that cycle have been discovered, then they start repeating. The more cycles you see without restarting, the more unique logs you can collect. So it’s possible to eventually discover all logs and put them into a linear sequence from 9101 to [the last one] in numerical order.

However your comment gave me an idea that it would be awesome to add some kind of "log journal" to a) show the total number of logs in the game b) to display the texts of the already discovered logs

I’m truly impressed by this game! Great gameplay, immersive atmosphere, high replayability. I would honestly love to spend several hours playing a longer version.

It's my pleasure to give it the highest rating!

Hello! It seems I won't be able to finish my game before the deadline, so I'll have to submit only the half-made game :(

Please let me know, when can I upload the full finished game? Is it required to wait any specific time after the Jam deadline before making any updates to the game?
