It's a game about digging a resource :D

I'm not sure you read and followed the rules on this one. Interesting idea, Worms but it's Minecraft, though I couldn't seem to do much. I could jump, dig and shoot a bow and throw a pearl, the rest didn't seem to do much at all.

Quite good twist to the original, to let you live-edit textures within the game. The only things I miss is a preview of the block when editing textures and the ability to edit textures without having to regenerate the world. Which means you did a LOT in just one week, especially great for a first game. Be proud of it, I couldn't have done that!
I couldn't even have come up with the idea of a live texture editor like that!

Would love for a save feature. Had to restart due to Escape taking me out of full screen and taking off the mouse capture and the experimental mouse capture toggle did not work.
I think I got quite far though, almost reached Far Chunk.

Really fun and cozy game. Also, top tier sound design on those bounce pads!

The block placement is off-centre compared to the generated world, and it does not place blocks where I am looking. It seems to switch between under the feet, down and to the left and directly to the left.

Oh, I love this game. And not just because we both went for "exploration in dark tunnels" :D
The atmosphere had me on edge and the mechanic of the flashlight (?) making a noise so you don't just want to hold down the button the whole time is excellent.

Would love a downloadable desktop version though, as some of us have issues with Godot complex 3D meshes on Web (and yes, my game has the same issue).

Well made and well designed.

For some reason, even though I know I have all the time in the world, the music and the clock just made me want to rush through it all. That made it that much more challenging :D Great game!

It looks like a cosy game.
A few things I've encountered that may be bugs, or me not understanding the game:

It said in the tutorial that I can press Space to go underground, but Space doesn't do anything.
Sometimes when I dig up things, I get a notification that I have received an item, but the inventory at the bottom is still empty and I cannot do anything with those items.
I cannot find a way to get energy back. I tried digging up food, but that doesn't do it either. So the game is only as long as your stamina bar.

I understand. Then I'm afraid I won't be physically able to join this one. Thank you for your reply.

Firstly, I want to say I really understand why you don't want AI in any of the final product, in any capacity.
With that said, we are quite a few people suffering from Aphantasia ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aphantasia ), and AI has been invaluable for our ability to create art.
The way me and many others use it is as a replacement for that lack of mental images. None of the generated art is used in the final image, I don't even trace the generated image, but I do use it as a reference image up on the side when doing my drawings.

To give a practical example, if most artists think of a unicorn-centaur, they have a clear image in their head of what that would look like and can reference their own brains when making design decisions on the blank canvas. People with aphantasia don't get that, but asking Midjourney or Stable Diffusion to give us that will give our idea a visual representation to reference.

Would this still be considered "You must not have used AI at any stage, including creation of assets", or would I be OK to join?

There's the beginning of a really great game here. Sound design is excellent too. Despite how limited the gameplay was, I had quite fun trying to outdo my own high score.

Cannot get the game to start. Pressing Begin just starts/restarts the music. The music is a bop though!

Thank you for the feedback, I'll add the boss immortality bug to the list of known bugs.
