I really love the character art in this game! Making something in Unreal Engine in just a few days is definitely nerve racking so I think it's great what you were able to do. I do wish the houses were a bit more decorated/designed but I get that you only had so much time. One of my favorite games of all time is Costume Quest so I'm a sucker for a treat or treat game, nice job!
Thank you so much!!! Yeah I struggled deciding how often the spawn rate should be, I definitely will make it less common, I think it's too often as well. I didn't even think of the health bar until someone else played my game yesterday and mentioned it 🤦. I'm so used to playing Octopath Traveler which doesn't display the health either 😂. But it's definitely something to add to make the experience better. Thank you so much for playing and all the feedback, I really appreciate it!
I also used rpgmaker! I used mv, not mz, though. Awesome job! I loved the cast of characters and the town. Very cute. I also loved how you could go up to any of the items and get an explanation for them. Makes it feel extra polished. I loved how things started to make sense after you became mitten. I would love to see where the story goes in the future. Awesome job!
Not trying to steal attention or anything, but my game was also done in rpgmaker if you are interested. I've been trying to find all the other rpgmaker submissions to play them, but it's a lot of submissions to go through, so it's taking a while lol. Sorry thought it would pop up when I did the comment. https://morganrocks28.itch.io/pale-harvest
Always love to see RPGmaker. I really liked how you did the cutscenes; those can be a lot of work getting the movement right. There are some spelling/grammar mistakes, which is fair because there's no spell check in rpgmaker, at least I don't think so. I also had a lot of stuff wrong and had to read over all my dialogue like 20 times to make sure it was all correct before submitting lol. It would have been nice to be able to explore the environment and stuff, but the battles were good.
I posted this in the Discord, but now I see itch lets you attach images, so I'll put it here. Idk why this popped up when I tried to download it, but I had seen you talking before, so I trusted it, but just wanted to let you know in case it detracts others from playing your game. I love the concept of this game. It fits the theme perfectly. I had a lot of fun making a bridge out of my dead bodies lol. I did accidentally press X instead of Z a few times and ended up getting myself stuck surrounded by my dead bodies around the checkpoint, but that's my own fault. Good job!

Dang I had no idea this was a thing. That sucks. I found something on Reddit about it. Something like Windows assumes that my game needs every permission because I never actually set any real permissions for it. It says go to settings, disable the access to your location and disable notifications about it is apparently the fix? Stupid Windows.
