this game was awesome, I loved the art style I thought it was absolutely beautiful. The ambient background noise was a nice touch, it reflected the monotony of lockdowns and unloving relationships. I thought that it was a very real and relatable depiction of an unloving/toxic relationship. the dialogue was very well written and felt very real. the way Lauren shot down David and questioned his feelings was very well done. similarly the way Lauren over inflated her importance in David' life meant that him coming back after all that time made sense and felt real. 

The loop of the gameplay was brilliant and also again reflected that monotony of life in lockdown. I related very heavily with the almost self destructive cycle Lauren fell into while waiting for David to come back, it felt very real and hit home ngl, but also it showed her counter dependency on David as a form of entertainment. speaking of entertainment, when they sit down and watch the TV the way Lauren attacks David but plays it off as a joke feels incredibly real. 

An incredible story told in an incredible way. I LOVED IT. keep making games please PLEASE please.

I think that it is more about the looping cycles of dependency that are created in a toxic or exploitative relationship. I feel that Lauren (main character) is taking advantage of the dependency cycle that she has created and she is biding her time until David crawls back to her so that she can continue to use him for, basically, her own entertainment. I think the "quiet moments" are not a test of their love but a test of how successfully Lauren's years of manipulation have changed David's mind. I think that it is very clever to have the story take place in a lockdown, since this is an unfortunate reality of the COVID-19 lockdowns, wherein many people found themselves literally trapped with their abuser, or in toxic relationships that developed abusive tendencies. I do agree that it is a very real and relatable depiction of a toxic, manipulative relationship.
