Actually I’d buy both of them (same 2D top-down chess board) - but a flat 2D chess piece style, and then a more detailed almost like 2.5D. I found some examples to illustrate:

Just wanted to chime in that this is a fantastically clean asset set - great job.

Would love to see you create a similarly themed Chess asset pack for more traditional 2D chess - I think a lot of people would buy it!

Great job with this - very accurate. One small suggestion - I'd recommend swapping out the hyena laugh - it just feels a bit out of place. 

If you wanted to add some new stuff to it - you could add positional bonuses where head shots have a higher score.
