I love this game so much, the music, the visuals, ah, amazing

Thanks, I somehow hadn't thought of that but it might be worth adding to the post jam to do list! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Really enjoyed it for how simple it is, the visuals remind me of blame, so I really liked that part of it, good stuff :)

Simple and fun idea, definitely challenging, I really like how the tower is blown away after you lose as well!

Pretty neat idea, like littlehawk93 said, adding stuff to reach probably would've been a good incentive to go further, rather than just the number itself [as fun as big numbers are ;) ], but an interesting experience either way

Amazingly chaotic, I love it

Amazing, Simple but really funny and clever concept

Very nice, concept is easy to understand, but the levels do require a bit of thought [for my dumbass at least], love the aesthetic, amazing game!

Cool idea, definitely an interesting take on the theme, although it probably would've benefited from a clearer objective, fun nonetheless :)

Goofy, slightly broken, everything a Game Jam game should be. But seriously a really cool concept that could be really something with better execution :)

Really cool idea and execution as well, although the difficulty sort of started high, and ended low, which made it a bit strange to play, still, quite fun :)

I like the old-school kinda feel, and the idea is unique, feels somewhere in-between a DOS game and a flash game, which I love. My only criticism is the same as others in that the controls are quite awkward, though I think understand where the idea was going, having a universal rolling/cutting buttons and switching between the styles would've been my choice, but a pretty cool game nonetheless!

Cool little game, definitely like the style, however as LambdaPhi said,  it was difficult to tell when you're being hit, and where. and also had the inputs not working after restarting [did you forget to reset the timescale maybe?]  At the end of the day though I liked it, and for what appears to be your first game [pls correct me if I'm wrong] definitely not bad :)

I love it, 10/10, amazing, perfectly challenging and actually quite tense, will be playing more :)

Loved it, super simple, but really fun to read the arguments, I liked how each character had their own "voice" in the dialog as well. I didn't win but I'll definitely be trying again :)

Really nice, I love the artstyle, really impressive for the time, I like the gameplay a lot, but a clearer tutorial would have been really beneficial, either way amazing! I will be playing it more :)

Thanks so much! really glad you enjoyed it, hopefully I can :)

Thank you very much :)

Thanks! yeah it does haha

Thanks :)

Thank you very much for for the feedback and playing

When testing I found lot's of ways to exploit the game and didn't really think of how stopping these exploits would affect normal gameplay, I found staying still and spamming especially over-powered. Once the jam is over I might add some difficulty options like bumpers on the side of your ship to stop the guns sliding off (like I originally had) and less often and weaker side lasers. And thanks for the kind words about the presentation. I spent far too much time on it! I had thought I fixed the enemies reaching you before you can see them but evidently that didn't work. I agree with most of your points and like I said will try to fix them post-jam.

Thanks again for the feedback!

Thanks for the answer!

Hi I have a question about the rule:

"All Assets must be YOURS or have DIRECT PERMISSION to use them. This will lead to more fluid games, and be more rewarding to complete."

Can I use textures from textures.com since they allow any use of the textures? or do textures not count as "assets"

Thanks for reading

Hey I'm Having trouble installing your game I'm getting a file NitroSTR.apk and cant open it do you know what's wrong and what platform is this intended for or whats it made

Thanks for any help!
