While there are a couple of things in Savage Swords that are uncommon in OSR games - the most important being the lack of character levels, you improve by buying skills and other perks with experience points - this is still an OSR game. Every character has six core attributes – Strength, Wits, Intelligence, Agility, Toughness, and Charisma, you roll a d20 to determine the outcomes of actions, and so on.
