Turns out writing an entire update in 10h wasn't as easy as I thought 💀 but I'll try to have it ready as soon as I can!!!

OMG!!! I'LL GET WORKING ON IT ASAP!!! MAYBE IN 10 HOURS OR SO GSJSGSJ

Glad you're enjoying the updates!! I really like working on this project and I can't wait to work on the last updates I have planned :) very cool things coming!!!

And thank you so much for telling me about the Jam!!! Already joined and submited the game!!!

It's support like yours that keep me pumped for Mechtale, so I thank you for taking the time to comment!!!

:)<3

Thank you for your playtesting! Any input regarding how the system works at the moment is greatly appreciated. I'm glad to hear the simplicity is not a problem, for I wanted to focus on it so that Mechtale can be a system you can pick up without much experience :D

Sorry to hear your GM is not convinced about the campaign, I'm sure they have their reasons, but who knows! Maybe someday they'll buckle hahhshs :)<3

Of course! I imagined that must be the case and I just wanted to let you know :)

THIS IS SOOO COOL OMG!!! I love the way you chose to present the game and all the mechanics are pretty cool and well-organised :D

Itch is advising me against downloading this file due to your account having strange behaviours?

This is so beautiful... omg I should use it at some point for one of my beloved mech oneshots... The design is so elegant and well-spaced also!

Loving this idea! This could be played as the last session of a mech war campaign and it could be DEVASTATING omg...

Cool game! I specially love the setting you've created and the descriptions of the different sentry cores :)

This is quite an interesting concept and I love the idea behind it! There's something quite unique in how these mechanics would affect storytelling and play :)

This is the game my partner and I reccomend to each and every person that tells us they want to get into roleplaying but don't know where to start. It's simple, it has a fun premise, and it sparks great feats of imagination!

Thank you so much! With the updates I'm planning there's even more character customization coming!!! I can't wait to keep working on this project :D<3

Making a card game about wizard battles right this moment and I'm using your art of a wizard attacking for the cover!!! It matches the exact vibe I needed, and I'm so grateful I've found this :D I know you said there's no need for attribution, but I'll add it because this is insanely cool and more people need to find it!!!

This is INSANELY COOL omg!!!! Can't wait to try it someday because I LOVE the evolution of written language and its changes!!!! Found this thanks to a collection one of my own games has been added to (Pictographer, another game about written language creation) and I'm soooo glad I found it!!! Great idea and AMAZING execution!!!

My bad! It doesn't get added to critical fails! Should've explained that better, thanks for asking :)

Hope the session goes well! If there's anything else I can help you with be sure to tell me ^^

Of course!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I gave myself lesbian heartbreak by making it so that the messy-looking woman appearing once and again turned out to be a widow that had lost her wife, and then we started crushing on each other but on Saturday she dropped her wallet down a drain, lost the picture of her wife, and never came back because of it :'(

It was really nice to play tho! Loved the game :)

It was really nice to play this game, I even cried a bit at the end. It was a quick one cause I wasn't writing it down, but I imagined a precious small town in the middle of nowhere and took a break there, which was really nice! From all the gifts I only kept the divination cards and then gifted the rest to my friends, and each seemed to fit them so well that it felt really bad to lose one. I will try to work this game into a campaign in the future, I think my players might enjoy the break and it could work in a very interesting way for character development. Thank you for your work!

Had a really cool character duo we made up to play this game. They started Spring being really close friends and through the story they each developed their own ideas regarding Her and split up. In the end, one became a preacher of some sorts and the other stopped believing in her return; She did not come back. It is ironic because the first time our characters encountered Her, they were “sparring” with sticks, so they were already fighting in a way.

It was a 1GM 1 player campaign run by my partner (their first time dming!) and the plot was about freeing a woman from a magic necklace she had been trapped inside of :D My partner played a bestie NPC to compliment my character and guide me a bit when I got stuck, and it was quite fun! The system is very intuitive and simple, but it packs a lot of story potential, which makes it super versatile and fun! Thanks for your work, it shows you gave it a lot of thought!!!

Just finished playing a mini campaign and I loved the system!! The character creation is pretty interesting and fun, and I love the different archetypes you can play!!!

Awww I'm very glad :D<3

This game is so simple and yet so fun to play! The premise is nice and the resolution mechanic works perfectly for the lite-ruleness(?). If someone asks me about ttrpgs to try I always point them to this one, easily my favourite<3
