Hi! The controls require a keyboard as you need to type the letter that is displayed at the correct moment.
As for the stress mechanic, you will want to hold spacebar and release at the correct moment to reduce the stress.

I do not have the means to test the game on a Chromebook but I can see about enabling a build for this.

There are 6 special cats! We love that suggestion and are potentially looking to add more content.

You can run the app on a virtual machine for a platform that supports it. I'll be uploading a linux build soon.

When you click on the cat you will see a panel open up with a food and cat face icon. You can click those to play with them. Hope this helps!

Do you have 3 cats out of storage already? There is a limit to how many cats you can have roaming at a given time.

If you tap/click on the cat you will see a heart or food button pop up! You can click one of those buttons to feed or pet you cat. Hope this helps!

At the moment we don't have systems in place that support modding. However, maybe sometime in the future we can figure out how to make this possible!
