he was a solo dev! He made it in a month.

Are you playing in the web version or did you download it and play it on an emulator?  Both worked for me. It might be your keyboard not registering more than two inputs at the same time. (that’s just a guess. I don’t know)  If you have a phone, you can play it with a touchscreen. You shouldn’t have issues with that.

Are you holding down the running button before you jump? When you’re running you jump further.

You’re not supposed to be able to jump at the start. You have to find a wizard who fixes your legs.  I think they were hurt when you fell. There should be ladders you can climb with the up arrow! Hope that helps

if any speedrunners are having fun with the game there is a speed running page for this game!  (Play the 1.1 version as it’s slightly shorter)  just record your play and submit!  Right now the fastest time is under 6 minutes!

I think the wording might be slightly different, but they’re pretty similar compared to the other ending

there are 2 endings so you dont have to play it that many times.  One ending if you chose the wings and another ending if you chose the other options!

I really liked the cute storyline in this game.  For how short it is, I think it tells a well written reflection about self acceptance. The last 3rd of the game where i was falling down the spike hole was fun and gave the feeling that you were getting deeper and deeper into your thoughts on what decision the raven should make.  Reminds me of how some people isolate themselves from the world when faced with a tough decision of their future. But when the raven makes their choice to be who they are. He comes back to the surface to spend time with their friend.

I played the game on computer and didn’t experience that. Were you holding down the run button when you jump? I don't think i noticed any button overwriting.
