It turns out the issue stems from higher resolutions, like on that of my Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Bumping down the resolution to something like 1920x1080 fixes the issue.
I discovered your work through the ClickTeam Fusion ClickStore. Thank you so much for the open source works you've added there, they've been a great help, and have taught me alot. You didn't perchance have an open source version of Demon Castle you're willing to share with the ClickTeam community? I'm really interested in how you accomplished certain aspects of this game and the sequel. Regardless, thank you for your existing open source work! :)
