BEAFORDβS BACKSTORY WAS SO PERFECTLY TOLD !!! Itβs definitely partly because of how well it was set up, obviously β but the flashback sequence was So Good on its own, and the tone of it was so so harrowing.. I really loved how the colors used for the setting and transitions made it feel so much more disjointed & distant in the way that memories of that nature Really Are … The way you build character nuances & complexity throughout your games is sooo beyond something to be adored and I canβt !!! Put into words how much it was evident here !!! AUWUAHHH !!! ππ
Very Very similarly,,, Alicia and Beafordβs dynamic here was SO !! OUGHWHHHH !!! ππβ I know I say it Each time.. But the way you write interactions & dynamics always come across as so natural and meaningful, (even in the little things,) and seeing how it's coming to fruition here is SO WORTH IT !! I really love the way you confront both of their flaws, and I'm very very excited to see how all the comments abt Alicia's distance-emotionally is gonna pay off in the next game !!!
Seeing Alicia & Itouβs dynamic built on here was also so, SO beyond good, too!! Itβs incredible that you can write so many unique interactions that are respectful to the given characters, and it was Really Amazing to see the pay off of all the interest built in how their relationship would work in the previous game !!!! β I really loved seeing how distinct he was from Beaford, and all the references to previous gags were SO Entertaining !!!
I LOVED SEEING THE SYMBOLISM W/ RED & BLUE CONTINUED HERE, AGAIN, TOO… Silver thread has always had suchhhh beautiful themes & commentaries around topics like death & mortality that are sooo rarely had like this in other mediasβ the devices you use to show the difference in unique individuals and their grief is always sooo beyond stunning, and a result of such amazing skill & talent to me… I really loved how you portrayed Claudia here, and her reading as a parallel to Alicia is So So So Good, too !! ππππ
THE LILLIAN LORE.. WAS… PERFECT.. The way youβve expanded on & developed lillicia is So Haunting and Good and Itβs Really Incredible that each game has managed to expand on it more and more in entirely interesting & still-reasonable ways β seeing all the tidbits of Alicia's perspective beforehand, and then all of this as pay off was !! SO INSANE AND AMAZING !!!!!!! Alicia has always been written So Uniquely, and I really love how you write her perspective & interpretation of info and events… It made the mood around the encounter with Fia at the end soo so so rewarding and exciting !!!!!!
ALL THE CGS WERE GORGEOUS TOO… each game they get so much better somehowβ and I feel so in awe at how beautiful and meaningful all your art reads….. I admire the way you use colors so, so much it genuinely never fails to create a perfect tone & mood to build the setting and characters !!!!!
This entire game took me so, so by storm β there were so many surprises and pieces of new information that I was So, SO in awe by !!! Every expansion of Silver Thread has been an entirely new level of Amazing, and your ability to make characters and create stories that are so easy to love and attach to is so beyond talent or skill !!!!!!!! Iβm sure I will replay this one million times over, and be so, so excitedly waiting for the next game !!! πππππ

I so, so beyond adored how alle & rutile's designs are perfect for uniquely-telling expressions !!!! It's always been so, so rare that I see designs that can so fluidly convey a wide range of emotions in a means that's respectful & unique to the character's personality and attitudes... and although it's always wonderful in each of your games,, these two were SO SO perfect at showcasing just how gorgeously itβs done !!!! ππ I really enjoyed the noticeable difference, and the impact of the visibility of Alleβs face after the haircut, in her sprites !!! (I'm sure they are both also largely aided by being so, so cute, and having the most gorgeous design coherency & color palette !!! hhahuwhughguhu) β Your characters are always so stunning in a way I am too-lacking-in-vocabulary to describe,, and I canβt put into words how special and cherishable they always are.
I've always so, so incredibly adored your ability to tell a story through design alone -- and i was SO happy to see it so prevalent here !!! πππ ; ; Alle's hair being reflective of her relationship w/ Rutile... Her eye being covered/not visible in the last cg again ; The way both of their hair curl in distinct ways (common idea, in a sense, but different renditions and means of obtaining it) ; The state (stained vs clean) & contrast (white against deep purple, versus faded black,) of their aprons against their outfits, β and even JUST the color and line work !!! WAS SO SO!!!!!!! β it's all SO so flawless!!! Forever !!!!! Your means of making designs unique is always so, so special-- it's SO !!!!! AHHUWUHGH ππ
The atmosphere was ! SO ! WONDERFUL, TOO !!!!! The evolution of it through the game was already so exceeding what I could've ever expected from its length,,, but the fact it was! so faultless ! at differentiating & distinguishing areas that were lived in and warm(? for lack of better word!!) , to ones that lacked that same warmth, without NEEDING to make an exceedingly stark and uncomfortable shift in color palette or design, was!!!!! SO GOOD !!!!! π - It made everything so much more immersive and natural to grow attached to !!!!! ππ β this is, not even to mention, even just the inclusion of everyday tasks and necessities !!! I think it really did contribute so, so much to the normalcy that was built, (like through the groceries,) β and the domesticity of it was so vital to make everything about it so much more easy to attach yourself to as a player !!!!!
I've always noticed that discussions of wealth or class or anything-within-those-categories in the media can tend to very, very often take a black and white perspectiveβ so seeing how beautifully it was handled here was !!! SO AMAZING !!!! and wonderful ! and other equally kind synonymous words !!!! ππππ β I really did love how easy it is to, at least, sympathize with both Rutile *and* Alleβs circumstances and perspectives !! Even with minimal information on what Alle's background wholly is ,, the establishment of her as an other within the circumstances she grew up in (e.g her having dark brown hair, while her step sisters were blonde), and her lack of satisfaction in that life style, creates a perfectly-valid reason for her resentment and dislike of it !!
The way Rutile is wholly justified for her resentment of her circumstances is conveyed SO wonderfully too !!! Between having essentially nothing, and us having to actually watch her work so hard to get to where she at least wants to be… β itβs so incredibly easy to understand and see where the both of them come from!!!! Which really really does make them both such perfectly nuanced characters !!! -> NOT TO MENTION! The idea of them being in some sense the same in their desire for something they donβt have, and the means they use to get there…. It's SUCH smart writing !!! Your games always have such unique narratives compared to what Iβve seen a lot of other games, and media as a whole, choose to depict !!!!! And itβs so SO beyond enamoring !!!!!!! πππππ
I've always so so deeply adored how you write and portray *any* sort of relationship or dynamics in your games.., and I could not be more genuine in saying that I have !!!! never seen such authentic and effortlessly complex depictions as the ones you create !!! ππβ (even if I were to be incredibly unaware and ignore the very specific undertones of their interactions,) even through the short interactions we get to actually playthrough, Rutile and Alleβs relationship is built so so perfectly,, the familiarity between your character is always so so sweet to see β and I really did love how you could see a difference in voice & tone between the seasons !!! The banter, the painting, the milkman conversation, (the usage of "we")..,, I really was so excited by the growth and development of their dynamic and relationship !!!!! ππ spicayuri is real and true forever.... -> I was, also, so so in love with the (inherent) lack of understanding between alle and rutile, and how it manifested !! both subtly and explicitly, like in the conversation during the end !!! I always love how you write and explore foils & conflicting perspectives between characters… and I especially-especially love how you drew parallels between alle and rutile despite it !!!! character nuance is !!! SO fun !!!! β It takes so much skill and ability to write a dynamic where they can effectively interact, and have similar (in some manner) ideologies -- while still having polar means of having obtained and actually using them !!! I really really canβt fathom how much effort must go into it !!!! πππ
The way you build characters, by themselves, is always so intimate and lovely, too !!! ππ I loved, loved, loved how Alleβs relationship with christmas, and the holidays is built up β and how itβs impact is shown thrown into the code of the lock box… I really loved the subtle differences between Rutile's internal dialogue and external dialogue β and how her attitude became more truthful to her method of thinking as time went on… it was ALL so !!!!!!!!!! AUGHWHHU!! πππ
All your endings are always so, so perfectly intimate and conclusive (in-whatever-form) to the stories you write, too - and i REALLY really did have to stare at my screen after my first playthrough !!! ππ -> All of the ending CGs were !!! SO GORGEOUS !!! I've always been infatuated with how much emotions your cgs manage to convey, while staying unique to the stories of each game.. and the art this time around was SO !!! AHHUWHGUHHH !!! The background was so lovely, and I really really loved the linework and how it contributed to the very sudden shift in mood and tone… Especially with how stark it was to everything weβd been exposed to environment-wise, prior. The immediate contrast in the ending with the ballroom was SO excellent !!! too!!! ( > obviously. A lot of things also go without saying !!! like the little interactions and commentary from each of them !!! i always, always love how it makes them feel so much more real and beyond just characters !!! But i fear this would all become a bit too redundant if i brought it all up individually hahwuhauhu)
THE DETAILS !!! AND TIDBITS !!! PUT INTO THIS !!! WAS SO !!! AWUUHWHH !!! ππππ -> Seeing Scheele's green was so, so important.... I can't put into words how much it means to see ow much research and information is always put into your games !!! and the way it was placed into it here was SO !! It always speaks to so so much passion and care,!!!!!! and it makes these games so much easier to hold in a special place in my heart !!! ππ
I also so thoroughly loved how you could find some key or notable presence of green in almost every area/aspect of the house (especially with the house being surrounded by trees!! hello!!!) ... whether that was unintentional or not, it was so, SO perfect and even more haunting on the second playthrough !!!! Even with it being such a basic and fundamental color, seeing it be given such a heavy weight and presence was SO!!!! πππππ

all of your games always manage to convey some of the most effective & purposeful atmospheres i've ever gotten to experience.,, and oh my god does every part of this game's atmosphere manage to convey so many things through just that, too!!!!!! the brighter color palette accentuating the lack of activity/happening, and it directly contrasting Rafael's dream (which then gives an unreal quality to the world,) not to even mention the way they're all spaced out contributes so much to setting the precedent that there's something distinctly wrong in the town ,,, everything pulls together into such a foreboding mood, and was conveyed sooosoo beautifully !!!!! it felt super reminiscent of many dystopian novels i've read.,, which i have no clue if is an intended effect,, but it was definitely effective in conveying certain themes !!!ohmuygod!!!
all the characters' designs were absolutely gorgeous (as they always are,) too !!!!!!!!! all their color palettes were so beyond lovely to look at,, and they all stood out so well as individuals !!! > all their sprites were so perfect at conveying their personality & emotions, too .,, : monday's design being so collected and mostly facing/turned downward,, with his frustrated/angry sprite having a hair out of place,., ; eury having a much more flamboyant (for lack of a better term,,) pose which did such a great job at making her clearly distinct, and unique, from the rest of the people in town.,,, ITS ALL SO GOOD !!! the story was so so far beyond amazing too!!!auuwuhHWHUGHU!!! your dialogue & character dynamics always feel so incredibly authentic and genuine in how they're portrayed.., and ohhboy did it add so much emotion to all the different points of plot !!! i dont think any words can convey how i felt after the interaction cain's (or. previously not just his) apartment, or the closing words of the church ending because dear GOD. UWGHHHHHHH. SO GREAT.!!!!! i have no clue how i got so attached to all these characters in a 30 minute time window. but dear lord did i.

You did really great at establishing new and memorable characters, while still building on Alicia and Beaford's!!! Even just the little details like the vending machine interactions made them so much more dimensional than before ;; i really love itou's character too, he seems so interesting and I like how he's obviously far more than how he seems at just a glance. I love seeing characters with multiple sides to them and he seems to be setting up to be a great example of it!!

just finished playing for the third time and, (to no surprise,) this was absolutely stunning !! I really loved the 'show evidence' & 'talk' features, they did incredibly well at making the game unique (and. a lot more interactive!!!) compared to the other games so far, and it was amazing learning about all these new characters!! The plot was super interesting: it was far too much fun piecing stuff together as I played, and I really enjoyed how much more detailed and in depth it was this time around (not to say the other games lacked that,) with all the details and such;; it also goes without saying the art is as stunning as ever, and I enjoyed the atmosphere in all of the CGs!!!! youre art never falls short of amazing :') I thoroughly adored all the fantasy elements tied in with Alicia & Dried Lily Girl (for. lack of a better name.) // ;; the princess & knight/prince idea... so beautiful, and so well conveyed!!! i'm horribly excited to see more expansion on them in the next episodes;; and given how much we learned here, excited to see more into how tragic they are: you can never go wrong with tragic and doomed yuri

I love seeing connections between games; and with symbiosis having a such a special little place in my heart, this was super exciting!! // excited to see if you end up incorporating anything from symbiosis into silver thread over the course of the next few episodes,,, oughh im already excited this is really just adding too awuugadwuh -> also; assuming this is mint: glad to see he's still alive LMAO

I don't even think I can put into coherent words (outside of keyboard spam, but that isn't really words) how good this game was. I genuinely can't get over how good you write all the characters in all your games; especially the protagonists !! Loved all the dialogue and how genuinely entertaining it was- especially love the slight ambiguity in the knife ending (putting my bets on that person maybe being related to the dried lily flower in Alicia's office? perhaps, maybe so?). I hope we have more works to come about the both of them, with maybe a little insight on Alicia's inspirations and background!! ππ
Generally- I never really get that invested into games; but my god has Symbiosis (as well as your other games) managed to worm their way into my head since I first played about 5 months ago, and since I'm at the point they've begun to just plague my every though, I thought I'd finally make an itch.io account to express that,

Iβve been so in love with Magnoliaβs character for the past couple months it's insane sdahouhdasuoh
Sheβs such a well layered and complex character; because hey, on one hand she's- just as a not-so-wise man once said- a cold-hearted [choice word]. but on the other hand, sheβs doing a lot of the more messed up things for mint; and honestly, Iβd also kill for mint. And even then- she's doing it for knowledge at the same time, so it's such a perfectly complex motive to everything that has me genuinely clawing at my hair at the thought of. Dove and Magnoliaβs relationship honestly seemed so cute (while it lasted, at least ;skull;) just from those few cutscenes alone; and as much as I wouldβve wanted them to be happy and all that nonsense, I also adore the bittersweet ending a ton and preferred it over something gushy and all that stuff- because I don't really know if that'd fit with the way they are, obviously. I did however have to take a break and go eat something after finding that wedding photo, because my GOD did that sucker punch me in the gut; I love divorced (and sad, technically? I'm not even sure anymore) WLW, especially when they're old ladies because my lord is that just the icing on top ππ
All your games honestly have the perfect atmospheres, and Symbiosis only proved that fact further!! You once again managed to absolutely go above and beyond with the art, and I'm on the verge of getting the damned blue bird app to see more!!
