I understand, 20+ minutes of waiting in line just looking around with no control.....then you finally get to move.  Of course I did read your comment before playing it myself, so was a little forewarned. And it might have decided to move me when I hit W, so was a happy coincidence, but it might be worth a shot if you play it again.

I don't think it was a glitch, mine did that too. You might just have to walk forward (W) when the door is open. It ran like two cycles then I started pressing w, then I walked in for my "reward". Hope this helps
