Looks real polished and nice, neat little mini-game!

I'll say as a couple of notes:

  • Instinctually I saw the green marker and tried to hit the marker itself as opposed to the actual button - thought it was a button or something instead of a timer.
  • Had no idea what to do with the outlets until I read the comments down here
  • Maybe a timer to show how long I have left within the actual thing that's cooking me, like how long until the microwave is done cooking me (if there is one the camera did not show it to me)
  • I love the sliding while frozen I was sad to see it go when I got more cooked didn't feel like there was a good replacement for it

Other than that, again, feels real polished you guys are good at what you do :)

YES I’m glad you liked it, stressed myself out working on that song listening back to it was stressful lol

yaaaay thank you lol even making it was stressing me out just listening back to it :P

Pretty cool. Maybe some nitpicks but:

  • Not sure if it was just me on my machine, but timing the prompt seems off with the music, would be much better if they were synced up
  • Also maybe enemies and projectiles should be synced with the beat as well? Felt annoying when a projectile was coming for me and I couldn't really do much about it.

Pretty awesome though beyond that! Sounds are nice :)

Yeah I need to flesh out the level design make sure they're as clear as they can be, others have said the same. Thanks so much for the feedback!

Thank you so much for this. So many useful points especially for level 3 I’ll make note of. If I ever decide to work on this more I’ll be sure to reach out again your opinions are very valuable!

Art and visuals overall is amazing. Did the gameboy aesthetic perfectly especially for the modern day. I'd say it's pretty confusing trying to figure out what to do at the start.

I will say took me a bit to figure out how to start the game - didn't realize I had to hold the mouse down. Other than that cool game love how it looks! Kinda gave me Jazzpunk/Thirty flights of loving vibes

I'd say as a couple nitpicks, I think like warioware each game should have a little prompt letting the user know what they have to do. Otherwise this is great, that first one where you use the scissors and hammer was so satisfying lol

Yeah this came together pretty nicely, art with the music is really good. I had the same thing as the other commentor, wouldve liked to have been able to the grappling hook more freely. Awesome job tho!

Wow this is great. I now see why Rhythm Heaven trains you with the mini-games on their own having those going all at once was stressful lol, great work tho!

Ok that stake monster is such a cool design I think you did a real good job overall with all of the sprites. I think some more satisfying feedback with attacking would take this a long way too!

Love the art cool concept as well. I agree with the other commentor I think attacking should have more satisfying feedback like a bit of sound especially!

I think you did a pretty good job with the art direction very interesting vibe helped with the mysterious vibe for sure.

Quick nitpick: I'm used to left click going through dialogue would be a good option to have. Other than that, your art is so good I started feeling bad for Rhys seeing the sad look on their face!! Excited to see more with your art :)

Pretty cool concept I enjoyed the story telling within the cards/other UI elements. Like another commentor said would like it if it was harder would make it more engaging.

Couple of notes:

  • laundry mini-game I completed but it still said I had to still do the laundry so was unsure if I completed it or not - didn't know I should just leave the room lol
  • chips mini-game took me a few seconds to realize I'm supposed to spam click to drop em in
  • the match colours game I instinctually expect to hold left click drag instead of just click

Other than that, real fun - animations for laundry were satisfying. Good job :)

Real cool concept and love the art. I will say I didn't know at first that for dash I had to pick a spot on the screen, and didn't notice dash had a range maybe those should be more obvious? Getting over that hump though I started having fun with it :)

I'll echo what the other commentors have said, I was expecting to be able to left click to skip through the text animation so I can see the whole line - didn't realize it was spacebar tho! Cool game though, funny timing cause a friend just rec'd the manga to me I guess this is my sign to read it finally :P

Awesome mini-game, neat concept! Art comes together real nicely as well.

The art and using the phone and the VA gives a nice cozy vibe. Too bad this game is so rage inducing!! lol good job

I think the art looks really good, really works well to paint a cool atmosphere. I got the same as the other guy, first loading into a level it will jitter for a bit before continuing just fine. Moving around feels nice.

Feel like the walk speed and the text speed was too slow. Love the art though it gives it such an ominous vibe I think you could pull something cool off with this!

Like the other's have said, cool take on a clicker/idler. My old hands appreciate it :)

Ok this one's pretty cool. Art is great and real neat concept too. Messing with the objects with left click was real satisfying!

Cool mini game, love the sand effects throughout. Drinking so much water I'm surprised we only needed to pee once!

Love the artwork, cool concept. Maybe I'm dumb but took me a bit to realize that we're supposed to be counting down not up (shouldve read your page first..). I like how it gave me sinister vibes without trying too hard to do so, at least from my POV.

As some of the other commentors have said I think you really nailed the atmosphere, combined with your artstyle it gave a really creepy vibe, love it. Should do more!

Amazing art even just from the screenshots, I'd say with the brighter lighting even better. Noticed a bug when I was moving mouse to the right side of the screen to pan the camera, my mouse wasn't being confined to the window so it just went to my 2nd monitor. Also maybe a nitpick but I think the room transitions and walk speed should be a tad bit faster like the other commentors said. Besides that, neat little experience :)

Love the art you guys made for this it's a cute style! Agreed with the other commentor I think once you're able to lengthen the day enough and then get your luck high enough it just becomes a waiting game. All those seagulls flying around is super satisfying, might be even better with sound :)

I like the premise it's pretty funny, your taking damage sound was hilarious too lol

I'll say I was sorta confused at first since I couldn't get far at all before dying but I quickly understood what the goal was for this. Like the other commenter said I feel like stealing breath from enemies being random was too annoying to deal with. I think you're onto something though, having to steal breath from attacking and getting to a goal. Maybe if it was guaranteed and the base amount of breath you start with was higher it might be more of an interesting experience.

Yeah I noticed its the case especially on lvl 3 since that one I couldn't really polish in time. Thanks for playing!

YEAH OVER THE GARDEN WALL I see the connection now!

tyty, getting the physics right was annoying but main inspo was from amnesia and half life :)

Thanks so much for the comment!

Yeah level 3 could use some more love a couple of my friends I had try it out thought the same.

You make a good point for the death mechanic. I was kinda caught between maybe leaning on using death more to paint the picture of a dystopian/dark setting (hence the name of the game/sacrificing yourself for the next guy) or have it so each level is beatable under 60 seconds. I’ll make sure to think about this more if I decide to make more levels ty!!!

Design is pretty cool! Wireframe visuals and the UI are great

Great job on the art, like the puzzly gameplay as well :)

Awesome job on the atmosphere and music. VA was a nice surprise :)

Didn't realize there were more pages for the notebook the buttons were really tiny on my screen. After that though pretty fun time. I keep dying cause I can't stop kissing.
