iv got about 2 projects im still thinking about that are playible but im trying out one of them first most of game mechanics are already made but i was going to add different character play throughs. i would mostly just be adding new sprites, sound effects ,some animations ,and music (cause none of my games have any of those)
i kept forgetting to give bigbob a health bar so you might be doing damage but ill try and check either before i go to bed or sometime tomorrow. also im not shocked the enemies are cheesable they have a range of about 200 pixels and i made the camera scale larger so you could actually seem them before they shoot you/ so the player doesnt just run into bullets trying to speed run (which may or may not have happend to me a couple times while testing it)
ill check the GUI and thanks about the information about the game page i didnt think to join the discord. im wondering if i should fix the mass cookie spawn error i feel like if it happend randomly it would be kinda funny. anyway im making a (hopfully) better version for the cookie jam that should be more polished and a bit better if you wanna check on the game again in like a week . anyway thanks for playing my game :>
im gonna be real i forgot about the xbox controls thing. other than that in keyboard its just click to shoots aswd/arrows to move and space to sprint. also did the cookies start mass spawning after an enemy died? it happend a couple times i figured out why but not how to fix it and im wondering if i should
one of the main problems in my games other than sound and music (which is only a problem because i cant seem to make anything good) has always been the viewport sizes, iv never changed it but my brains always like hmmmm this could be smaller
but thank you i really didnt think people would like it this much. btw is the last room beatible? i didnt have time to check
the purple and black blocks were suposed to attack for longer but for some reason the timing refused to change it would have been much harder and mind you this is the last minute version there was gonna be alot more stuff but had some other stuff do and didnt want to risk missing the jam just to add it (which i literaly only had two or three minutes left) but keep an eye out for this project after a couple other jams im gonna finish and polish it up
yea the chest was being annoying for a while so after like an hour of trying to get it pixely i just said screw it .
also about the audio i know about free sound but i spent to much time trying to get an inventory system to work so i didnt get much time to add sounds iv even been trying to make my own music for games(literly havnt touched the music software in months and just now thought about it).
