By the way, I forgot to mention that when a player becomes the champion, a visual bug occurs: a negative number appears where the time after the player became champion should be displayed. It’s not a major issue, but it would be good to fix it in the next update :)

I have a couple of ideas; maybe they would work well for this game (maybe that would throw off the balance of the whole game XD):
New stuff ideas:
Add new units like boomber, healer or mage (who shoots at several enemies at once, or something like that).
Maybe a dodge mechanic would be good. Just like the critical damage mechanic, dodge relies on chance (You could also increase the dodge chance for fast, small units, while lowering it-or even setting it to 0% - for clumsy, slow ones.).
But if there's a dodge mechanic, then fruits and potions to increase the dodge chance will be needed.
However, the dodge mechanic could drag out matches significantly; if it is indeed considered, I wouldn't recommend giving units a large dodge bonus—or at least suggest setting a cap, for instance, at 35–40%.
You can also add fruit and potion of shooting visibility range (only for range units) (this means that the unit sees enemies and targets them from a greater distance).
Here are some ideas for modifiers:
Sleeping hat or sleepwear - when a unit with this outfit attacks an enemy, the enemy is slowed, and their attack speed and damage are reduced (You can also place floating "Z" letters near the "sleepy" unit).
Pirate eyepatch or pirate hat - each hit has a chance to earn 1 money.
Spiked armor - returns 25% of the damage to the attacker who hit the unit with spiked armor.
Other ideas
Add new rarity of the items, like "epic" or "legendary".
I would also like you to add "buy" and "sell" buttons, because dragging items and units to the right spots isn't always convenient.
Visual effect: if player fighting against champion, champion's units has a scar on the face (like a sniper in the main menu).
P. S. I realize that organizing all this is nearly impossible, and I’d understand if you didn’t include any of it, since these are just rough ideas. I have no desire for the game to be based solely on my ideas; I just want it to keep growing. I was happy to help :D
I think this game is really good, but I haven't found a single spider. I've looked both above and below ground, but it seems like they just aren't spawning. Just so you know, I played the web version; maybe there's a bug in it. I'll wait for the fix. :)
Edited: I launched the game in a different browser (switching from Chromium to Firefox) and the bug was fixed; maybe Chromium somehow breaks the spider spawning or something like that :0
