Honestly, the twist hasn't firmly settled itself into the 'excited' or 'disappointed' camp yet - I think I'm more curious about its consequences than the actual twist itself at this point. That being said!! I hope we get to decide whether or not forgiveness is in the cards for our MC once the truth is out. I want to be able to place blame on Athiel and Juliet and the friends, because what they're doing (keeping this HUGE secret from someone who has been grieving El for MONTHS and is clearly not doing well!! plus the morality of not providing el with all the information they need to make informed decisions) is super fucked up and deserves to have an equally emotional and big moment. The anger, betrayal, and sorrow that would come from a bomb like this would be HUGE, and it deserves to be ugly and raw.So, I’m super excited!! I love hurt/comfort and angst, and this is such a good opportunity for both. <333
