Hey! I saw that you use Godot and can do both UI and coding, so I wanted to message you because I’m working on a really unusual rhythm/dance game project called Mito Motion.

It’s not a platformer or a normal rhythm game. The game actually uses phones as motion controllers, has multi-coach gameplay, custom song packs, story mode, animated UI systems, and a “Connections” themed world where dancing restores electricity to the city.

The current version is made with Python/Pygame and is already playable, but I’m also interested in experimenting with Godot in the future for cleaner UI, effects, cutscenes, and more advanced systems.

I can send you:

• screenshots of the UI/story mode

Even if you just want to brainstorm ideas or experiment with concepts together, I think it could be really fun because the project is honestly pretty weird in a good way 😄

But the jam version is on the itch.io and in first download the packages aren't available for direct download; you need to download them from the website because that increases the game size significantly.

I agree, but I don't have Discord. If you want, we can communicate via Gmail because that's how I developed most of my projects. I can also send you the project I'm currently developing so we can brainstorm together and figure out what to add to the game for Jam. But the game isn't a platformer or anything like that; it's something weirder, let's just say physical for now.

Evet düşünüyorum. C#, Python ve  Javascript biliyorum. Geliştirdiğim bir dans oyunu var telefon ile yaptığın hareketi algılayıp bilgisayara gönderiyor daha sonra bilgisayar hareketi doğruluk listesine göre puanlıyor ve Good veya Perfect gibi puanlar veriyor yani Just Dance ile aynı mantık ama güçsüz tarafı Pygame ile yapmış olmam. Unity'i tam kullanamadığım için Unity'e bir türlü geçemiyorum. Unity'e geçmek istemem daha güçlü bir engine ve UI daha güzel hissettiriyor. UI'ın fotoğraftakine benzemesini istiyorum

Mito Motion is a fan-made rhythm and dance game project created with Python and Pygame.

What started as a small experiment slowly evolved into a fully playable dance game project with: ✨ Video playback ✨ Score/results systems ✨ Multi-coach gameplay ✨ Custom song packs ✨ Modern UI and transitions ✨ Motion-controller support

The main goal of the project is creating a fun, energetic and party-style dance game experience.

Current development is focused on:

• gameplay polish
• smoother UI flow
• new pack ideas
• better visual presentation
