Hey everyone! I'm working on Kosmograd, a real-time strategy game about managing a Soviet lunar colony in an alternate history timeline.

Current State: The game is in very early development - think "functional but not fun yet." Right now you can click around, place buildings, manage basic resources, but the balancing is completely off. It's more of a tech demo showing the core systems coming together.

What's Working:

  • Building placement and construction
  • Basic resource management (power, oxygen, materials)
  • Unit pathfinding and movement
  • Day/night cycles and environmental systems

What's Next: My immediate focus is getting the resource balance right and making the core loop actually engaging. Right now it's a bit like watching paint dry, but in space.

There's a playable build on the itch.io page if you want to poke around and see where it's headed. Any feedback on the direction or what you'd want to see in a Soviet moon base sim would be super helpful!

Built in Godot Engine. More updates coming as I figure out how to make managing oxygen shortages feel exciting.

Play Prototype Now

damn i wish there was more!

Played the demo to see if it would run o my laptop. Runs super well! (Mac 2019)

you need to unzip the file, there' an exe inside it :)

Hi, I have a feeling this corner tile doesn't align properly with the main grass tile (3x3)

Other than that love the tileset

That was really fun!

Pretty fun concept, especially co-op. Wish there were a bit more features as it gets boring after 30 mins.

I got the file from poly.google

https://poly.google.com/view/46Bl5Ook_xw

I downloaded as triangulated obj.

I've noticed that when converting certain files, i'd sometimes get incoherent outputs

example:

vertex_position_3d(my_buffer, 0.1100704, 0.07964528, 5.310774E-05);

Not sure where the comes from but it causes errors as it's unreadable in GML.

Any idea what went wrong and how to fix this?

But does it support Game Maker Studio 2?

I hate mosquitoes, even fake ones xD. Still liked it. Solid idea, a little hard, but I guess it's supposed to be. Btw the Mac Build doesn't work for me. (can't be opened)

One of the more original games for this jam. (Most are maze games).

Maybe a simplified version of this game or explanation thereof would have made it more accessible.

Voted!
