Very fun and silly! Next time pls make a web build so this gem doesn't get overlooked!!

Really creative application of the spinning theme to the tower defence genre. I especially thought the tutorial was well-designed and the difficulty curve felt fair. Nice entry overall!!

Short but funny and chaotic visual novel. I'm not even sure what the term is for this aesthetic, but it makes me nostalgic for a very different era of internet. I loved the art & SFX, but wish the audio was mixed to be slightly less harsh. With that said I feel like its all part of the experience. Great entry!!

Really cute art style and a fun mashup of different timing-based games. Definitely took a little while to understand the controls - had to re-read the How To Play a couple times. Once I spent a bit of time with this I got the hang of it and really enjoyed! I wonder if introducing the crocodiles after a bit of time would make it easier to ease players into the experience. Overall really nice entry!

Really fun & polished game! The sound was fantastic, not just the soundtrack but the SFX and subtle differences that go along with upgrading your yo-yo. It also felt really good to swing the yo-yo - very satisfying! My only real suggestion for improvement is that it sometimes feels like my yo-yo misses a target when it shouldn't have - if the hitbox was a bit more forgiving I think this would feel even more satisfying to play. Really fantastic game though - among the very best I've played this week!!

Love the visuals and the game-within-a-game concept. Also enjoyed how you managed to add progression into a basic slot machine game - very cool! Would be nice to be able to see how much money I have persistently and maybe an inventory of items purchased, but perhaps Ren'Py makes this tricky? Anyway, great entry!!

Really love how new concepts are tutorialized in each level, gradually ramping up the complexity while teaching the player new concepts. Great job!

Love the BOP-IT style gameplay and thought the tutorial in particular was very nicely designed. Great job!

Faith... UP! My first run I tried to go pure faith and spin for each outcome but I spun myself into the mall hospital. My next run I tried to play altruistically and got to equip girlfriend at the fair. Someone below suggested disabling the text animation, which I think would make things a lot snappier. Additionally I felt like I didn't really have a great sense of why I might make specific decisions - many of the choices felt random - which maybe works with the theme but makes getting all 4 endings sort of an arbitrary goal. Still, great writing and loved the silly, laidback vibes overall!

I love this game. Fun and funny with a great mashup of art styles. The gameplay is simple enough to grasp quickly but with each new wave of enemies adds a new dynamic, which is great! Also I think this is the only game I've played so far with voice overs and interactive cut scenes. Very serious stuff!!

Really fun use of theme and lovely hand-drawn art. Great job!!

Really neat concept with fantastic art & music! I found the controls a bit tricky and the level design sometimes unforgiving but overall had a fun time with this. Also enjoyed the ending, which ties in well with the theme.

Brilliant use of theme - all elements of the game (art, music, gameplay, etc) all work together perfectly to reinforce the very serious business of spinning in your dad's chair at work. I did feel a bit crosseyed and dizzy playing it (especially as the difficulty ramps up), but I consider this part of an immersive experience

PLAN-IT-ARIUM is sort of a turn-based incremental game. Would love to get your feedback!

Thanks so much for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! We actually were planning a whole system where planets could have effects with neighbouring planets to stack combos, etc but didn't have enough time to finish it. Choosing where in an orbit to place your planet is maybe an artifact of that, since right now the decision is a bit arbitrary

Also would really appreciate you trying out my game! There's some genre overlap so I'm curious to hear your thoughts

please do!

Really into this sort of combo stacking game, plus I love the World Cup theme. The art and music were great and the writing was funny. Lots of inside jokes for soccer fans too which I enjoyed. Great job!

This is a pretty fun puzzle game. I can't believe you made this in 5 hours! Love the visual presentation and the feeling that I was cheesing the level when actually I'm pretty sure spinning around and experiencing anti-gravity is sometimes the intended solution. Great job!

There should be more games with cactus protagonists!

Very creative use of theme to make an novel puzzle game. I also like the cute art and overall vibe. Great entry! Would love to play more!

This is the best interpretation of the theme I've seen so far and the overall experience is very fun and funny and polished. I found it a bit challenging during my first play through so I appreciate being given difficulty options which I might use for my next run. If you have ideas on how to expand this idea into a bigger game I'd love to play more!

Surprisingly engaging for a pretty simple game. I played to RESET twice ("for some reason" haha). The music was a vibe and I enjoyed adding small spinners to make the big spinner spin faster. It reminded me a bit of a complex machine with small gears that spin fast to make a big gear move. Would love to see this expanded on!

Genuinely fantastic interpretation of the theme to make a pretty unique platformer with multiple novel and interesting mechanics. Also really enjoyed the music and art direction. I found the actual gameplay a bit difficult, maybe partially due to the controls which sometimes require left and right hand doing different things, but I think this can be ironed out and streamlined with a bit more dev time. Overall I really really like this game and would love to see it fleshed out further!

Short but fun game with a great soundtrack!

no worries if you can’t!

Really love the music and art & use of spinning theme. Gameplay is fun and frantic although maybe a little bit too hard right from the start. Would love to see this expanded on - there's lots of potential to add different kinds of obstacles and do more with the beach theme. Overall really nice job!

Thanks so much! We'll try to tweak the difficulty curve today

We do have music but maybe its too low in the sound mix. Thanks for the feedback - we'll tweak this!

I couldn't figure out how to get the ball to move forward. Maybe if you control speed with the arrow keys it would be a bit easier to understand & play? If you can improve the controls I'll come back and re-rate this because the concept and genre definitely appeal to me!

Love how scary & dangerous it is to take a trip to the hot sauce store! I like the art style but found it a bit hard to play due to low contrast of the visuals. Melee attacks were my fave and overall it felt good to smash the grey blob guys

is there a web version of this game? I can't play .exe on my mac

Funny mashup of spin the bottle with a high stakes adventure vibe. The gameplay was a bit boring and repetitive, but I appreciate this is more about telling the story. Nice production value overall and loved the ending!
