This is the perfect game to explain the yumejoshi condition. I was always intrigued by such community and this game seems to hit its essence so well.
Coincidentally, after reading this I learned "shifting" is a real thing that people from yumejoshi communities have tried to accomplish - basically it's an extreme form of maladaptive dreaming where you shift to a different world like the MC of this game does, although in this story she doesn't do it on purpose and it just "happens".
