I liked the story and I've been itching to see what will happen next. However, I had one major gripe with the story:

The player saw the owners' daughter naked, due to no fault of his own, and she decides to punish him for it by unjustly making him spend an entire day tied up in his room, and there were no repercussions for it? That was just awful! At the very least, the owners should offer to pay for an extra day of his vacation to make up for the one she took from him in return for not pressing charges against her. Though honestly, I'd almost prefer it if that whole revenge day scene got taken out of the remake; it was not fun to watch.

I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this, but I tried running https://taboo.media/CitD/ in Firefox, but the game's Start and Gallery buttons don't work, making the game unplayable. Is there any chance Candle in the Darkness could be made available for download on itch like this game is to mitigate those problems?

The 0.3.6 update messed with office_day.png. It's significantly smaller, and it's not even a real PNG anymore. It should be reverted to the old version of itself or renamed office_day.webp.
