It's because its a custom game engine that they made on their own, and for me you just need to remember how the menu looks it is not unplayable (it ALWAYS happens when i boots up the game.)
In case anyones reading this this is a small patch designed to hold out while 0.30 is being worked on.
I wish the dev still worked on this game... so much potential
Also If you want to speed up progress ive found that the saves are in Base 64
how do you even get the Cheated thing on a save?
