holy fuck, this was a disgusting read. had my jaw agape the whole time reading this dialogue, the narrative voice is so distinct. i could feel visceral, twisted love dripping from the descriptions of the surgery. the conversational scenes made me so deeply uncomfortable and seeing them intercut with the surgery is just, god.... your writing's amazing, truly. i think i'm obsessed with this woman now
the aesthetics here are on point. the monochrome with splatters of red is so beautiful. the use of sound effects here is amazing as well, the immersive soundscape really added to the story and i commend you on that.
i really like the way this is presented. i'm a sucker for out-of-context vignettes and what i'm reading here is really intriguing to me... i'm totally going to have to read oxblood. i like this!
