I've gotten some weird latency issues ever since updating from 0.5.3 to 0.6.4

Not only has my measured audio latency increased (24ms or something like that to 40ms), no matter what number I set the frequency to, the notes still hit the strikeline before they should, so I have to hit buttons early. Setting things to +100 or -100 or more makes it clear that the offset doesn't shift the notes as it should, it just makes the game act weird even if you DO hit it on beat, including missing notes when you're right on top of them.

I'm going to open an issue on Github, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues. I personally can't play rhythm games properly unless the audio sync is perfect.

The Steam DRM is trivial to remove with the right tools. Google is your friend. The real issue is making sure you're downloading the Linux version.

I like where this game is going! It even works on Android if you open it up in Chrome Beta (Other browsers work, but the game becomes unplayable if you back out of it and you need to refresh). Scaling is a bit weird, depending on your screen's aspect ratio, but its very playable, with tapping with the other finger used to rotate items, and (quite clumsily) dragging your finger from somewhere empty to objects to hover over and see descriptions. Also, the game fails to save after starting over from a death, for some reason. A few tweaks and it would work perfectly on mobile. I know that's not on the roadmap (at least it doesn't look like it) but it should be a lot easier bringing it to Android than Switch, I'd imagine. (IOS also strikes me as difficult in some ways).
