Will the new update be available on the browser version of the game soon? I'm unable to download any of the versions on my laptop, so I can only play on the browser! :)

Hi, loving the game! Not sure if i'm being dumb or not, but does the new update only work on downloaded copies of the game? My laptop won't let me download any version so i'm stuck playing on thr browser version, which has been working great but doesn't have the item features etc Thanks :)
