god i love when a narrative really forces you into the main character's specific worldview. emma is fascinating. the lead up to the climactic "today i'm going to change the world" (Normal girl voice) was so satisfying

the whole "package arrival" sequence captured a feeling I don't think I've seen in anything else I've read. the electricity in the air. the whole "you're doing something very very bad and you're going to get in trouble." made my heart race in fear and recognition!!
