I love the music, the atmosphere, and the world of the school playground. Definitely reminded me of being a kid and throwing mud, dirt clods, and occasionally rocks at each other. You nailed the gameboy aesthetic also. I only got through a few of the fights so far, but I really enjoy this and the world you've created. It makes me wonder what real life stories and people influenced it! Anyway great job!
I really enjoyed playing through Hypnagogia. You nailed the dreamlike 90s Japan / PS1 aesthetic. Its almost like vibe of the original PS1 boot up sound, only turned into a whole game!
The influence of games like Mega Man Legends and Silent Hill are very evident too, and it made me chuckle when the rabbit I talked to said the said the same thing!
I haven't beaten the game yet... only gotte to the rainy city level so far, but I really enjoyed playing. Great work!
I played 'Quest for Infamy' when it first came out years ago and loved it from the very beginning. The detailed art, the atmospheric music, the hilarious characters (and narrator!), all tied together with a fun story and a fantastic game. I've replayed it a handful of times over the years taking different paths, and I always have a great time. I love this game!
