Thanks for the feedback. The pronoun use is intentional and tied to Alex’s perspective and confusion at that point in the story. It’s not a mistake, and it evolves naturally as the relationship progresses.

I’ve just double-checked the Itch.io page and the files are there and working correctly on my end.

Could you tell me:

Which version you’re trying to download (Windows or mac)?

Are you using the Itch desktop app or downloading directly from the browser?

Some Ren’Py games don’t work properly with the Install button in the Itch app, even when the files are present. If that’s the case, downloading directly from the browser should work.

Let me know what platform you’re on.

I’m glad the game caught your attention, especially the animations — the climax one in particular was something I put a lot of care into.

You’re right about the looping, by the way. For now it’s intentional, but I’m already thinking about how to make those moments feel even more natural and impactful in future updates.
