I was so excited to see this come out after Teke Teke was so good! I think this game was an improvement in many ways as well as a step backwards in many ways. HOWEVER, I was really creeped out, loved all the work that went into the environments/voices/scenes, AND I was an absolute moron so I must forgive the game for any and all annoyances I had. lol I am strongly considering revisiting this to try for the good ending/new Hachi Mode, but in this first vid I left the good ending for others to try to get for themselves in order to push the game any way I could. Thank you so much for your continued impressive efforts and I look forward to playing whatever you come up with moving forward! :D

Beyond impressed with this game, very well done! :D

It was dark and creepy in all the right ways, and it was mostly quiet for a very good reason as opposed to the average modern horror lack of ambient sound for no discernable reason. Hearing the footsteps of the big boy (or girl, or however they identify lol) was BEYOND unsettling. The collection mechanic is a time-worn concept in horror games, especially indie horror games, but the game was immersive enough to make me feel desperate in my search for x, y, and z. So much so, that I never bothered to litigate the fetch-liness of the quest. lmao

I am so happy you are working on an expansion to this concept and you better believe you'll have one dork Youtuber signing up for it on DAY ONE when it comes out. XD haha

I left a link to my playthrough video at the top for anyone who is interested! :3

Thanks again for all your hard work making a high-quality terrifying free game for all of us to play! <3

Had this little beauty in my Indie Game folder for SO LONG. So glad I finally got around to playing it. I'm a huge fan of Japanese culture, and I LOVE myself a creepy atmospheric experimental horror game, but this one featured an important message as well. VERY well done. Looking forward to playing more of your games real soon on my channel! :-)

Here's the vid link for anyone interested!

I had a great time with this one! Super funny and inventive as always Lix! :D Thanks for all your hard work! Here's a link to my recent playthrough for anyone who is interested. :3

This game was unbelievably fun. So charming and so obviously made with love.

Thank you so much for all your hard work!

I know I'm late to the party but I hope my playthrough can bring any attention at all to this deserving project.

Looking forward to what you come up with next! :-)

Following and giving 5 stars! If anyone is interested, here's the first episode of my new playthrough!

Y'all got something very special here in my humble opinion! I hope we get to see the full release! It isn't every day that competent devs take an interest in classic beloved concepts like this and as a late arrival on the indie horror Youtube scene I am very much interested in getting a taste of the glory days. XD So thank you for the hard work and keep it up! Here's my playthrough for anyone interested in watching!

Thank you so much for your hard work. 🙏 Here's my playthrough if anyone is interested! 🙇‍♂️

Very well done overall! I was super creeped out and I loved all the work that went into the look and feel of the game. I will say that from a Let's Player's standpoint the slow walking was particularly problematic, especially if you do get lost, but the game wasn't made for Let's Players. XD It was made for Players! So I didn't let it affect my review or my opinion of the game. Looking forward to your next project!

I loved the game so much...I just had to go back and make a highlight video for it. I hope it brings more attention to this great project. <3

-SPOILERS-

I am going to try to avoid doing the second ending because I want people to go play for themselves. lol

Absolutely terrifying game! Very well done! :D The atmosphere, the polish, the dead sprinting for your life, it's all incredible. A well-deserved 5-star review has been given! Thank you so much for your work, and if anyone is interested; here's my playthrough! Hope you enjoy! :-)

Finally got to try out the game! I'm excited to try out a full release if one becomes available! :-) Thanks for the hard work Lixian as always, and sorry I couldn't beat it! ^-^*

This game is very...unique. XD lmao It was a hilarious and oddly stressful experience, in a good way! I love puzzles and the trial and error mixed with all the personality crafted into the scenario, created a very satisfying challenge for me. I definitely recommend this game, and I personally bought the second one. Can't wait to share the next one with my viewers! :-) Thanks for the good work!

Congrats, Lixian, this one almost killed me. XD lmao a few of the jumpscares got me all three times I went through. Very well done as always. We appreciate your hard work and dedication!

I am nothing short of amazed with what you were able to do with this. lol I mention in the vid multiple times, but I'd play through a full game version if it was ever made available. Absolutely amazing job. The sound design, lighting, combat, and world building all screamed Dead Space and yet somehow it all added up to something new and terrifying. Looking forward to your next project! :D

This game is hilarious. Wanna say that first lol Very well done on the comedy-horror balance here. Everything is just so...questionable. XD lmao The scare at the end got me so good, and the tapes were also super creepy. Unique, simple concept, executed with precision. Everything I want out of an indie horror game! :D Very well done! Here's my playthrough for anyone who is interested!

This was such an inspired piece! :D I wish you luck in your future projects and can't wait to play chapter 2!!!

Cheers on a job well done! It was a short but extremely tense experience! I especially loved how good the world building and the sound design were. I am sharing my gameplay on my channel for those who are interested! :-)

This was amazingly solid given the constraints! :D First off, thanks a bunch for the ultrawide hotfix! I really appreciate your consideration!

Now, as for the game, I had a blast! I LOVE the flashlight mechanic! I couldn't stop ranting about it in the playthrough lmao The way the shadows messed with your head as you move your cursor around...god it was creepy! Took me waaaaay longer than it should have because I was so scared. XD lmao

So very well done, I REALLY hope you bring this flashlight mechanic to a new title, or make a final version of this project! Best of luck to you! Thanks for the great experience and all your hard work!

Thank you so much! It worked like a charm! :D I'll be coming out with a video shortly, so I'm excited to see what's in store. XD

No problem, totally understand. I was mostly just curious if I was being stupid or if there was an obvious fix. lol XD Native res is 3440x1440. I tried changing my resolution to 2560x1440, then running the game. Still no buttons unfortunately.

For some reason the main menu buttons aren't showing up for me. O.o So I can't start the game. lol

This game almost made me cry...lmao Great ambience and attention to detail! I appreciate your hard work and I'm excited for your next project! :D

All good ideas on the improvements! One thing I would suggest is also adding a mouse sensitivity slider, and a windowed mode toggle/resolution settings if you aren't planning to. I'm not a dev, so I don't know how hard that would be to add. lol So these are just suggestions! I'm planning to play this on my channel too soon! :-) It looks very spooky lol So, I'm excited to see the improvements!

Just played your game for my channel! Thanks for your hard work! You really got me a couple times there. ;D lmao

Thanks for the great experience! I was really impressed by the level of polish and atmosphere in this game! :-) Please keep up the great work!
