You recommended I play this game from the comment section of my submission (press start!), but I am on Mac and unable to get past the space bar bug in the web version. So far the graphics are pretty good, but I can't say anything about the gameplay, as I never really got to experience it. There is a bug with the fullscreen button, it just greys out the screen for me, and I can't do anything. If you release a version that is downloadable for Mac, I would love to finish the game!

It’s my bad, it is uncompiled and can only be played if you have game maker (the engine I used). After I submitted this I learned that I could only compile for Mac, so my partner who has windows was able to compile it, and you can play it here: https://itch.io/jam/shovel-jam-2025/rate/3736815
